I am interested to know what sort of colors you never wear together? Also, what sort of colors you never mix when applying your make up? :hmm:

2 bright colors together, actually more that one bright color. Also green and blue don't go together unless it's jeans..red & orange, pink and yellow..etc

Also, I'd never mix black with brown.

i don't know..i'm not a big fan of bright colors, neutral is more like my taste. i think mixing bright colors is wrong. and i think bright yellow is just wrong lol, it's just so..blugh! lol.

I like bright colours but I wouldn't mix them together. I hate the colour brown with anything.

actually I looooooooooove wearing bright colors, mixing colours is a must for me, I think its not what you wear, its how you wear it and carry yourself.

I dont like wearing all black - it is just sooooooo depressing!

There are certain rules about colours.

First, you have primaries. Red Yellow and Blue.
Then secondaries.. Purple, Orange and Green.

The colours that contrast are the colours that 'go together'

These are the contrasting colours:

Orange and Blue
Red and Green
Purple and Yellow.

See, one secondary colour contrasts with one primary. And also, if you notice, they contrast with the colour they are missing.

For example: Is there any yellow in purple? no
Is there any red in green? no
Any blue in orange? no

Now.. when it comes to clothing, these rules may or may not apply. Because colours are not just "green".. there are loads of different shades of green.. and some might match with blue .. like a turqiose and navy print swimming suit.. I can imagine that looking good.

Depends what kind of purple. If it's a pinky purple, I agree.. If it's a blue-y purple, they'd go.

Some colours look better in nature (like a purple/orange sunset) than on fabric though..

i never mix pink with green
or... green with gray
beige with gray is even worse
i also don't like orange with green
or blue with orange

mixture of these colors give me the creeps.

consider everything else ok with me.

especially anything matches with either black or white

and i don't add more than 3 colors.
