Do you have an interest in going through home decorating magazines, going furniture shopping, and basically designing your current/future house? Do you already have ideas of what kind of thing you'd like to do, or would you rather just leave it all to someone else to furnish and not be involved in it at all?

i love boho chic a lot. a bit of modern with something ancient thrown in. i don't like the overly modern look....don't want my house to look like a surgery. absolutely love the bo concept look, and some stuff from ikea and designs similar to them.

i like funky stuff that's practical with something elegant (like a huge chandelier) thrown in. muted colours throughout with bold accents that stick out.

I dont decorate I just keep it clean... but I do change the furniture setup once in 6 months or so...switch the sofa with the TV for example.

Some people think it is not so manly to have such interests, so I rather not :p!

I love modern/urban country. Lots of wood, lots of colour, nice prints (mainly flower prints).. simple but classy.

I can't wait to decorate my own home and choose everything from A-Z. I can spend ages looking through magazines, and I have all these ideas of what I want my place to look like.

I buy magazines related to decorating homes as much as the fashion magazine. I even have software installed in my laptop for home designing.
I just love decorating and enjoy looking around in furniture shops even if I don’t need to buy a thing.

I don’t mind if someone else furnishes my home as long as their taste is similar to mine. As for what kind of thing I have to do, If I was moving into a new apartment, I guess it would all depend on the finishing of the apartment. If like the floors and the lighting were modern then I would go for modern furniture, but if I had the opportunity of changing the floors, doors ….etc, then I would defiantly go for a classic look ,,, feels more homey

I LOVE anything about asunny ,warm light room! white is a must and colors as well ,but it should be included as away that it wouldnt make the room looks darker! big windows are just amazing and a room with a relaxing colors is also a must!

I never had decorating intrest before getting married. When me and my husband setted our apartment the first time and with all the hassle of preparing for the wedding .. we just got the first thing we liked and fitted with our budget. I didnt care much about how fancy it would look.

Now, I care alot. After Gonu destroyed my apartment I had to change the house into tiles. I used that as an oppertunity to re-design my house. I tried not to buy new furniture and tried to use what I have, but added few colors here and there. Ofcourse its not how I picture it in my mind but at least its apealing enough. We cant wait to move in a bigger house so we could have more freedom to design it the way we like (provided it fits our budget).

Before marriage I had no interest until the time came where I had to decorate my living room, bedroom and bathroom (in my in law's place). That's when I started enjoying decoration and I have so many magazines at home to look at. Last time I went to Dubai, I went to all the furniture stores and took their books for future refernece since we're planning to build our own home next year :) So yea, I love decoration and I love tha fact that my husband and I have the same taste so we never argue about what I like or what he likes.

i love decorating! and i think i'm quite good at it too. i love mixing modern with antiquish. i have like a kazillion ideas, i can't wait.

why didn't you girls study interior design then :p ?

well I will hopefully design my house, even the little details lol.. the kitchen, the furniture, the lighting, and the landscape lol its fun if u have no limit budget, but gets really tough if u have a limited one

Currently, I have no interest in that whatsoever. I can't stand furniture shopping or home wear shopping. However, I think once I have my own house, I would like to have a say on the decoration part of it. I think my taste is going to revolve around the concepts of modern, timeless, classy and elegant designs. I like the use of vibrant colors with pastels. I also like the use of antiques with modern looking furniture. I guess I would like my home to have the "old meet new" feel.

Yep, I've been interested in that for a very long time, since I was 9 I think. I have a file filled with cut-outs out of magazines that I've gathered over the years, and my 'bookmarks' is filled with decorating sites. I've desktop files filled with decorations I liked as well :p

I've already designed my entire (future) house. Even the gardens! And the cutlery and plates etc. Even the towels hahahaha. I am going to build my own home, and furnish it myself, pick out the tiles, marble, wallpaper, paint etc.
