I don't like short hair (at least not on me)....right now I am peeved at my hair. Won't do a Britney...not that stupid but am at my wits end as far as finding the right shampoo and what is it with losing so much hair?
Not going bald but man....I am thinking it is from stress but who knows.
Last time I had a haircut was about two and a half months ago. I relayed my own nightmare of a story when the salon guy cut too much off while giving me his negative political viewpoints.....I know I need to return but scared of the same thing happening again...may ck out another salon.
In the meantime...what are some great ways to make your hair grow longer faster or is it all just a myth and human hair naturally grows at a set rate?

From what I heard massages help stimulate the scalp to grow more hair.
That woman shouldn't have cut so much hair off of you. What business is it of hers that your hair is long even if she hates long hair. It's your hair. Unless there were split ends she has to do what the customer wants not what she wants. That is what happened with me.

marianna..
unless your hair is breaking off because of extreme damage, there is nothing you can do to make it grow at an increased rate.
The rate at which it grows is a genetical thing. Usually about an inch every 6 weeks.
If your hair is curly, it takes alot longer to SEE the difference..
massage stimulates better circulation, for healthier hair. IT stimulates growth in hair that has stayed "asleep" and not gone into it's "growth stage".. ie. for hair that falls out and takes it's sweet time to grow again.

Thanks Thalia...I know I have to color it because of gray. Now instead of coloring all my hair I just color the roots so that way I don't overly damage everything. I cannot live with gray hair because my face doesn't match my age meaning my hair is graying but that is the only visable sign right now I am approaching 40. I love long hair but is so hard to get it "right".

Hair colour is hair colour. doesn't matter what type of hair you have.
Stick to a good shampoo and conditioner, only colour the roots that grow and trim every 2-3 months.
You should be fine.
Once in a while, if you blow dry your hair straight, you will see the difference it has grown. ;)

i've read that sea food helps to maintain good hair natural colour because of the copper it contains. i'm gonna get me a jar of copper supplements next week.

the blow drier will not damage your hair as long as you have it done by someone who knows what they're doing.
