Men: what kind of beautification do you do; other than cutting your nails, hair and shaving?

I find it very annoying when some men find it "gay-ish" to take care of their body.. They throw statements like: "we're men, we don't need to do that". I am sure many of the girls here and out there want men who care about their looks and make an effort to look clean and neat.

I don't mind it when men go for the moroccon bath treatment, facial, manicure and pedicure, along with the usual, cutting their nails, hair and shaving. I think these are okay.. Other than that, hair straightening and waxing are "gay-ish", I agree..

So sabla men? How do you take care of yourself? And what kind of beautification do you go for?

I don't want my husband to go all out and have beauty treatments and such. To me the essentials are: regular hair cut, good shave, clipped nails (not a mani or pedi), clean hands and feet, moisturized skin, and good smell.

Anything else is over the top to me. I don't do much for myself, and I'd feel weird if he took better care of himself than I did.

i paid for my husband once to go to have a facial and a massage. he looked miles better and felt so as well. his routine is a shave and moisturiser. nothing else.
he clips his own toenails cos they are a pet hate of mine. ewwwwwwwww

Actually, I do all the things I mentioned above for my husband.. but I wouldn't mind if he went to a saloon to get them done. I am still not a professional when it comes to his feet nails.. I find it somewhat difficult to do it perfectly.

I could not cut an adult's nails. I cut my daughter's until she was about 10 then she did those on her own. I have a paranoia about feet.

me too...i'd never touch an adults' feet unless they groomed them themselves.....

Weeellll if the kissing is part of something errr nice for both of you which leads to even nicer things no problem but no way would I cut nails. Phobia.

Ewwww. I wouldn't even kiss my own feet! :os And I don't have a problem with feet, they're just not exactly clean enough to kiss.

I don't mind a regular hair cut, clipping his nails and shaving. That's it. Oh and if he has black heads he should remove them.

Pedicure is a must along with regular hair cuts, shaving and clipping nails.
I just cant stand gross dried feet with dead skin all over the place yuuuuk

well i think if men should only gets hair cuts in barber shops and thats it anything else his wife can do it for him!

i would do a massage ,facial and whatever for my husband ..

I don't mind that he goes for a facial once a month, goes to the barber regularly and has a mani and a padi - those dead skins need to go! However waxing is of course a no no except perhaps for his underarms :inno:

Hmm Yah I find it gay to be honest. I mean I want a normal guy...guys are supposed to be messy sometimes. He should shave, clip his nails, shower regularly lol that's about it. Also I don't want a guy who's obsessed about his outfits...as in goes shopping all the time I dunno it would feel wrong.

As long as he has a clean shave and not-so-long hair...he'll look handsome to me :)

Anyways, Apart from the usual, I don't do much either, just like every other oman or arab, I might go for the whole package for my wedding, otherwise I don't really bother but I make sure I'm always clean and shaved.

I used to that 2 or 3 years ago.. can't remember... nowadays sometimes I would go 2 weeks without shaving or trimming my nails :p
But when it comes to shower; at least 2 times a day!!
Brushing my teath: at least 3 times a day!!

I loather the brow threading on men...I dont mind removing the thick uni but threading above the eye is just gross!

LOL my husband has more facials than I do. I've only had one ONCE in my life, but he has them every month or two along with a shave!

I sit in front of Sabla and get a manly Sabla tan! My face is the perfect blue tint now!

I don't do any shaving.

When my beard gets too scruffy I clip at it vaguely for a while.

When my moustache starts tickling my nose I stab at it with little scissors for while.

When my nose hairs start growing out of my nose and tickling it, I poke at them with scissors til they quit tickling.

I get a hair cut every few weeks.

I bathe and wear deodorant.

I try to remember to wear clothes when I go outside so that people won't laugh at me.

Every few weeks I wear a bow tie so people will think I'm one of those guys who knows how to tie a bow tie. (I am! :p )

I try not to pick my nose when other people are looking.
