This thread is mostly for girls well men LUCKY them dont have this problem as we do!

so i wanted to ask the Girls

do you girls have any of those skin/body problems?
and when did u got it and how you tried to get ride of it?

cellulite (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cellulite) which 90% of women have it.and its VERY hard to get rid of it completely ,even some skinny women have cellulite.

HERE is a site (http://www.thecelebritycondition.com/cellulite/index.html) showing some celebrities who have this cellulite problem.

stretch marks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stretch_marks) which most got it from gainig and losing weight and pregnant women also mostly get these in their bellies, some men also get the stretch marks .and its hard to get rid of it all and completely maybe you can let it look better but you can not let it all go .

and men

-would you really care if your wife got one of these skin looks? why?

-what would you do to let ur woman feel ok with it (IF you are ok with it)?

I have cellulite but not stretch marks. I don't remember when I got it, but I never bothered doing anything about it. It's hardly noticeable anyway; I forget I have it!

Eeeek! those cellulite or whatever you call them are disgusting! *yuck* Anyways, I have very light stretch marks on my thighs, but it is barely visible.. I think I got them when I once gained weight and lost 'em.. :os Oh well, it doesn't bother me much, since it isn't that noticeable.

A stretch mark is not just a mark. It is a scar, where the skin has torn because it doesn't have good elasticity. And yes, unfortunately, I have many. By the 5th month of my first pregnancy I began seeing the first ones. I had been applying creams since I knew I was pregnant, but it had absolutely no effect.

By the 9th month, it looked like a very very angry big belly. They don't remain red and purple as they appear in the beginning, they do lighten.. but the tears in the skin remain. Nothing I can do about them so might as well change my perception of them from hideous marks to reminders of the time I carried my babies inside me. ;)

nosa, i saw that too, i actually watched the show to get to the cellulite part. :P
i have stretch marks, not sure if there is any cellulite hidden somewhere, i never noticed anything.

Yeah, I have both. I never noticed the cellulite but I am sure I've it, but I've white stretch marks on my thighs, but I thank God regularly that I am fair, therefore they're not very visible.

They don't bother me now because I know it is the norm and it is not very disfiguring. When it gets ugly, that's when I'm gonna hate its guts.

I have some cellulite. Daughter does and she is only 104 pounds. I heard that you can massage that area forget how long and you can diminish the look somewhat.

lymph drainage (massage from the bottom of the leg upwards, towards the lymph nodes in the groin region) really works.

marianna

I wonder if that is why they do those massages in spas?

I have few stretch marks that are barely visible. Nothing to worry about. And no cellulite thank God.

You can't see it in real life, you just never see it so... I dunno :/

-what would you do to let ur woman feel ok with it (IF you are ok with it)?
something I heard from Buddhist tantra is that when you describe a person's body part to them in neutral language it makes them feel better... it neutralises their insecurities or something, and they burst out crying with joy.

I have both but got rid of the cellulite by using total body lift from clarines. It really works but then once you stop, the cellulite gradually comes back so i keep using it on and off.

Well would scars or birthmarks stop you liking a man's body? Of course not right? So it's no different for you. I've got stretch mark's across my back from growing too fast... it looks like I got whipped.

its like i want a woman with a perfect body -_-

You'll get over the whole 'perfect body syndrome' if you just looked for the beautiful.

In my line of work, it's my job to bring out the best in someone's looks, from the neck upwards. So I guess I'm just used to looking for the beautiful bits instead of the ugly bits. I know we're all a mixture of both.. and I know we are especially hard on ourselves.. it must be a woman thing.

But I also know that we just have to stop wasting time worrying about it all. It can really ruin you, ruin your mood, ruin your fun, ruin your self esteem, ruin your chances to do something...

On everyone else, I see marks and scars and lines as 'character', part of them.. part of what makes them unique.. I wish I could actually say the same for myself. :hmm: I do try.

If he points out a stretchmark or something in a nasty way, it will sting a little.. but then I think.. 'hey, you're not that perfect either... so shut TF up and let's just be unperfect in silence.. " :hyper:

HAHAHAHA NICE ONE

*high five* you go girl!
ya they are not perfect we will still prettier than they are :P

ok didnt understand the 1st thing..

:/ u saw the link? it shows what is it

it doesnt make the skin looks smoothier its like there is something under the skin which is the fat.. even if a girl was skinny she can get it coz the fat comes upon the muscles.. but with the guys it happens in a different way the fat is under the muscles so the skin even if you have little fat it looks smooth not like a mountain or something:bored:

anyway i loved what u said :)

hey, i know this might be a little off topic but, don't men have some of those lovely imperfections somewhere on their bodies? :p i'm just curious.

Thankfully I do not have stretch marks. I had a small belly when preggers with my daughter. I used Cocoa butter liberally from the very beginning.

They always get to cheat, dammit! :hyper:

I guess men are likely to have more 'war wounds'.. scars from stitches and such.. since little boys usually get into more trouble than girls..

And look at it this way, men with stretch marks have no excuse. We're never gonna buy the whole "i had a baby" story... :hyper:
