Salam everyone,

Today the most scariest/oddest/most painful thing has ever happened to me.
I was cleaning the bathroom; scrubing the tub, sink , counter etc. and then i decided to take a shower... Okay so i turn on the water and i get in the shower.. just as i was about the apply shampoo into my hair, this weird pain started on the left side of my body. veery veeeery bad pain. It felt like something was yanking onto something in my body ( maybe kidney?) im not sure if it was my kidney but it felt like something was yanking and pulling and squeezing something inside. I couldnt stand up properly i was bented over and so i was about to collape into the shower but i forced myself (veeery painfully) to turn off the shower and get out of the tub. I put on my robe and i collasped ,I then forced myself to open the door and try to yell for help but i was in so much pain i couldnt even breathe. My sister saw me and yelled for my mom. She then came running up and i was on the floor crying and holding/squeezing on the left side of my body. My mom wanted to rush me to the hospital but i refused to go since i couldnt even sit up. Every small breathe i took, killed me. oh my god did it kill me.
Now im able to sit up properly but not as normal. Im a bit bend over. And every breathe i take i can feel the pain a bit... im afraid it will come back again..
Im pretty sure it wasnt a kidney stone or maybe apendicitis.. doctors? any help please?

Go to the hospital: PLEASE.

Juve, don't mess around with stuff like that. It sounds serious.

And if it isn't: no harm done.

Go to the hospital. I don't want to hear that you have almost killed yourself by delaying it...

but the thing is jeff, The last time i went to the hospital.. i had to wait 10 HOURS!! and then 2 MOre hours in the doctors office and i was one of the lucky ones :S.. imagine.. after 10 hours the pain would probably be gone im pretty sure .. it is serious yeah.. but i hate the why we get treated in the hospital and i know i know better than nothing.
i probably will go to the hospital very soon.

Yes, I forgot: Canada!

We don't have such waits in the US with our horrible private medical system.

The wait sucks. But you know, it sounds like it could really be SERIOUS.

You don't want to get a perforated appendix!

Get a book. Or take one of those blueberries or whatever they are and get on Sabla and the net from the emergency room.

Or take Cute_Ting with you or some other friend to cheer you up.

And a pillow to sleep if you can.

the only thing I can think of is- ask if you can get a house call from a doctor...

my solution to this prob, same as Jeff, HOSPITAL, it might be the appendisitis (spellin?), if its that and it bursts, you can lose your life.

10 Hours, there's a solution with that, go in the hospital as an emergency case, screaming and stuff so you scare the docs and they just treat you right away. That's what I do here even for a flu! If you need help ni screaming, ask your sis or mom to punch u in the spot of pain! I know pretty crazy but trust me it works!

If it's an emergency it shouldn't take you 10 hours!!!

Don't you have a private health care option? Your own family doctor maybe?

What ever you do, just DO something about it NOW. And let us know how you are later..

It could be just a bit of flatulence but it could also be a ruptured appendix.. don't chance it.

Im feeling a bit better buti can still feel the pain a bit when i breathe or turn to my right.

as most of you said about the emergency room.
It WAS the emergency room that i was waiting in for 10 hours. very bad huh?
Even though i would be screaming and crying , they would still ask me to wait :S
THere was a guy behind me who;s fingers were biten off form a dog and he was bleeding to death but he still had to wait :S. but i let him go ahead of me, wow can u imagine?

Yeah thalia i do have a fmily doctor, no mater how many times ive seen her, she just tells me to go to hospital or does a blood test one me.. god it sucks.
I'll probably go to the hosital again soon..

Appendix is on the right side, no it can't be appendicitis, the pain usually won't improve on it's own, it's an emergency that requires operation

You should be less careless & consult your Dr

A physical examination is needed, your abdomen & pelvis need to be examined, an ultrasound might be needed as well

If it's the mid of your cycle, then it might be Mittelschmerz (mid-cycle pain) it also starts suddenly

I don't wait that much lol maximum 10 minutes ^^
