View Full Version : 2 in 1 OR 2 in 2?
Endure Whisper 23-03-08, 11:17 AM What kind of shampoo and conditionar do you use?
Shampoo and conditionar, together (2 in 1), or seperately (2 in 2)?
I use 2 in 1 because I hate washing my hair lol.. I try to make it as fast as possible, but I heard it's not that good.. is that true? And why?
toxic_honey 23-03-08, 01:15 PM i heard two in one is not as much as good as the two in 2
i dont know why but i think they put much shampoo than the conditioner in 2in1
so ya am using the two in two lol
AMARANT 23-03-08, 01:16 PM i dunno, doesnt make a difference to me, i will only use the shampoo, if the conditioner is with it, then it's a bonus...
so i guess 2 in 1 is better??

Excuse me?
toxic_honey 23-03-08, 01:37 PM LOL not u i was talking to amarant
2 in 1 are not good..
Shampoo and conditioners have different PH levels. Mixing them is not a good idea.
The shampoo ph is meant to lift the cuticle a little and the conditioner is meant to close it and make it smooth again..
So when put together they are actually working against each other.
And that's why separate shampoos and conditioners are better.
difference :S?
i guess 2 in 1
cLueLess 23-03-08, 01:48 PM I prefer 2 in 2, but if it wasn't available, I go for 2 in 1.
Diabian 23-03-08, 03:49 PM so so.. am kinda guy who changes the shampoo every 6 months lol
Dam3eti 23-03-08, 05:39 PM I use them separately, cze I like to leave the conditioner for a longer time.
Superbia 23-03-08, 06:38 PM I'm a 2 in 2 user, I use lots and lots of conditioner :D Makes my hair go smooooooooooooooth! :D
2 in 2 r a lot better to me.. coz u can control what u want more n less.. coz iv heard that it isnt good to have codnitioner on ur sculp.. they say.. samboo your sculp and condition the ends!

i never knew that.. now i have another reason for using the 2 in 2
i use 3 in 3 actually. :D
i'm currently using this heaven sent package lol
L'Oreal Elvive Nutri Gloss (Shampoo, conditioner and mask)..my hair is a lot more glossy, smooth and it's seriously the best shampoo/conditioner i've used so far.

i also apply the Nutri Gloss light reflecting serum.
Dam3eti 23-03-08, 07:52 PM ^I use the mask 1-2 twice a week only .
My shampoo and conditioner are separate. I don't know, I feel it is more effective that way :os
I use them separately, I can feel the condition much prefect working when they are separately used
CompulsiveWaves 23-03-08, 11:02 PM 2 in 1 lol i guess :P
marianna 23-03-08, 11:40 PM Heard having shampoo and conditioner in one bottle not good for the hair long term. I use separate and my fav are those from Suave. Means soft in Spanish.
Libellula 24-03-08, 12:42 AM I actually like the 2-step process, so I don't use 2in1s.

i wash my hair twice a week only, and thats when i use it.
minerva 24-03-08, 02:47 AM two in two, three in three and four in four..
i use a scalp cleanser and a scalp conditioner, and a separate conditioner for the rest of the hair and a hair treatment too...
if you have coloured hair a two in one is a no no!
i use 3 in 3 actually. :D

That's the same shampoo/conditioner I'm currently using..didn't try the mask yet.
I prefer using seperate shampoo/conditioner
LOL .. fa'9i ana! :p
2 in 1 I guess ..
but i dont know if the shampoo's i use have conditioner in it! LOL
toxic_honey 25-03-08, 12:20 AM ah guys are so lucky :bored:
*thinks of shaving her hair*
I use Denorex usually, because I have a mild case of dandruff when I don't.
I only use conditioner when my hair gets really stiff, but I use the cheapest thing I can find, usually Suave.
Kreeemy 26-03-08, 02:48 AM I prefer them seperate since i feel that my hair is not cleansed well with 2 in 1. Its like the roots are still oily and gets flat and stuck on my sculp no matter how i dry it.
WoLF DoLL 28-03-08, 12:34 AM 2 in 2 for sure.
sameerb1 28-03-08, 12:42 AM used conditionar 5-7 times in my life...always use only shampoo
Angel_Eyes 30-04-08, 12:27 AM Do you put conditioner on after you’ve washed your hair or do you use the 2 in 1 shampoo+ conditioner?
Dam3eti 30-04-08, 12:46 AM There's another thread about this I think. I use conditioner.
sameerb1 30-04-08, 12:51 AM Do you put conditioner on after you’ve washed your hair or do you use the 2 in 1 shampoo+ conditioner?
the question was asked in one of the threads previously...
i dunno wut i use...head&shoulder...is it 2in1?
NicoBambi 30-04-08, 01:45 AM Thread moved from Member Lounge.
NicoBambi 30-04-08, 01:46 AM I only use shampoo lol I don't really care ^^
No i seperate them, that way I feel better for some reason.
2 in 2 i love washing my hair i really can wash it ever day i know i know its bad for my hair.
Oujisama 07-05-08, 04:27 PM 2 in 1 is never good for the hair, cause the conditioner doesnt stay in the hair for requiered time. i prefer using 2 in 2 ....
TripleTee 07-05-08, 04:37 PM definitely separate... 2 in one spoils my hair...
Superfreak 07-05-08, 04:54 PM When i go to the gym, i use the 2 in 1 since i prefer just taking one bottle with me, but when i'm at home, i use the 2 in 2. I've noticed the 2 in 1 doesn't work that well on me.
