I think it's a good oppotunity for those who are going to graduate (or already graduated) and seeking jobs, as well as for those who are looking for internships. I believe the fair won't be particularly for SQU students, even people who have experience or from other universities/colleges can submit CV's and application letters. My company, Weatherford, will be one of the participants , although I am not in the HR Department but I'll be around. We do have opportunities coming up for Engineering, IT&S, Finance and Management students.

Get your CV done, because this fair is happening next week!

this is a good place for people who want to do internship training...

^She's right!

Today was great, we got too many CV's and we really didn't expect we get these much of CV's. I'd admit that some students were way to dumb to pop up from nowhere and savagely ask silly questions about the company.

Tomorrow will be exclusively for LADIES from 9:00AM till 16:00PM.

Just piece of advice for those who will be coming, talk to the Regional HR Manager and try to impress him when you hand over your CV. I will be there too, hopefully. :p

Goodluck to all job-seekers!

I roamed around the place after work yesterday and to be honest it was a big mess. The place was too hot with no ventilation! Also, most of the companies had useless representatives and clearly the only reason they were there is to show others that they are "committed to the society"!

Also, something extremely pathetic was for companies to ask us to submit the applications online, so why the hell are they in the job fair? To introduce their company? To who? Students?

I will try to go during the early hours on Wednesday, it might be better!?

^ :XD: Equality???

Maaaaaaaan, I was there 2day and it was crazy! I had to fish my cousin out xD It was like 80% men and 20%women, UNFAIR!!!! I wish if I made it yesterday and I think one day for women isn't enough, I struggled alot to get to the company which I wanted 2drop my C.V at!

It was so stressful and too hot and kinda stinky, lol...... cause of the small space and the big crowd :l Never the less I made it to the target point :D We need more of these fairs!
