I have been wondering.
Do you think it is a good idea to make a thread with the "common used words" in the forum that not all sides understand it?

Like when someone says somethings in Arabic, French, German, Spanish, etc.
We don't have to explain EACH and EVERY time!
So how about we make one with all the words that are usually used?

I see a lot of "mabrook", "3adi", "ya3ni", "kafek?", etc.. words in Arabic but at times no explination is written after it. (sometimes not always)

So you think doing this is good?

I think you don't need to..
The rules clearly state that you can post something in another languages IF you add the right translation...

The English Sabla only allows posts which are in the English language. However, it is permissible to elaborate part of a post in another language provided that an English translation accompanies it. Failure to provide a translation in English will result in the non-English text being removed. If the member continues to break the rule then he/she could also be subject to receiving a notice/warning accordingly.

I know but why should we keep writing the translation?
Why not make a thread with the words so people can learn how to "search" things?

At times it might be... troublesome?
Like if I said something in arabic but didn't know how to say it in English... What should I do?
In those cases I think it would be good if we had those dictionaries..

Don't write in Arabic..period, and if you must then just translate (and if you can translate then why on earth are you typing in Arabic in the first place). :P

that's what I think about it.

Then don't type in Arabic, the sabla has many non Arabic speaking members, we should be considerate towards them and most of all this is an ENGLISH forum.

As been said, this is an English forum, so why Arabic or any other language?! If its a must, so do some effort & put the translation.

I hate translating. I don't think that should be allowed, but oh well, who am I to say what's allowed :D Anyway, I think if you can't translate then don't post; others will!

i think translating it then and there right away is the best option. if u dont like, jus skip the arabic and write in english, after all, this is English Sabla.
