How would you send your voice to the non Muslims ?

The only way that I'd present myself to non-Muslims is to simply be as good a Muslim as I can get. One can achieve inner peace through adapting Islam...And that produces the best social relations there are. Everybody wants to be rich cause they've seen how rich people are...The same goes for following any religion.

To my non muslims friends, I never interfere with what they do no matter how much it is against Islam. However, when we have something in common in the religion, I would point it out, for instance gambling, getting drunk or believing in Jesus, but then I would say we believe in him in a different way and explain.

I never attack their actions or say what they do is wrong. However, when they ask me for example why don’t I drink or how come when I inherent I just get half the money of my brother, I just explain the reasons behind it and they usually get convinced with it. Many of them thought that women in Islam are oppressed and they usually get surprised when I mention the rights we have, some joked about converting to Islam (Doesn’t mean that they really want to convert, I know it is just a reaction they give out for being impressed with our religion).

Sometimes, I feel that their religion is stricter than ours especially the Catholics. Having sexual intercourse for pleasure is forbidden, if they got divorced than they will go to hell,,, But many of them don’t really practice their religion just like us.
Some of us are called Muslims even though the religion is not practiced correctly.

From the Muslims I met while in college they were just themselves. And we learned from one another. The preconceived notions they had of Westerners (read stereotypes) vanished and I learned more about their part of the world and the religion. It is just being able to get along as human beings.

Yes, Catholicism is pretty strict when you adhere to it the way you are suppose to and in Christanity sex is seen as procreating and not for pleasure. That is the read I got on it through my teachings. Sex before marriage is a grave sin along with divorce.
