When you were a child and had all your brothers and sisters around you...

Were you all equal to your parents or did you feel like more attention was given to one of you?

Did you lack attention at any point? (example: another baby after you)

Since I was the only girl in the family, I was the princess; the one and only. I don't remember that my brothers were given less attention (maybe they felt it ), but I didn't.. Now, it's crystal clear that my father loves my elder brother the most.

Did you ever feel the difference? Did it make you want to cause trouble to the loved one or felt jealous?

Uhm, I am the baby of the family, so I was always the pampered one who had my father's attention but I never thought that my father loved my sister any less. On the contrary, always thought she was his favorite even though my father physically pampered me more. With my mother, I think my 2nd brother is her favorite, only because he makes her feel very loved and teases her a lot.

My sister was the baby of the family and she got out of allot of scrapes. She is youngest by seven years. I guess mom and dad were too tired to deal with that one though when she became a teen they had to chase her down a few times. She was a rebel. As the oldest I always had to set the example. It got old after awhile only because my brother and sister had minds of their own and did what they wanted to anyway.

I'm a girl .. born before two boys.

I think we've all been treated equally. I never felt I got special attention of less attention. But I'm certainly my grandmother's favourite.. the woman would walk on fire for me. I loved her attention, I knew that she'd give me ANYTHING when I was a kid.. and now that she does it to my eldest daughter I can't stand it. Because I feel it's unfair on my younger daughter. I find myself naturally praising my younger daughter more than the older to make up for it. I'm not sure if that's good or not - but because they're both equal in MY eyes.. I can't stand to see one not getting as much as the other.

I never felt someone is treated differently.

We're supposedly treated equally by my dad, but me and my brother always feel that my older sister is treated better

As for mummy, she treats us all the same. + She always reminds us how vital it is to treat children equally. Love her!

i've always felt like i'm treated differently. even when that's not necessarily the case..but being the middle quiet child, i was never treated any differently from my other sisters. my father has two favorites, and my mom favors the other two, and i'm not any of them. :D

i'm fine with it though, i never felt different, just not as special lol.
