I thought Shahri and Gebali are languages with no alphabets?
I met this guy Ali al Shahry a couple of times; great guy with a real passion for this study. Ross is right that traditionally the Shahri and Mahri languages were thought to be spoken only. But Ali has done years of research into this, and wrote an interesting book showing how characters in these cave writings in Dhofar correspond to the sounds in the spoken language. It's called "The Language of 'Ad" ("Lo'3at al 3ad").
When he told me about these writings in Colorado I was a bit sceptical at first, but it's certainly amazing when you see them together. If people from the ancient civilisation of Thalmud ended up in the Americas, then it's another one in the eye for Columbus eh?!
Maybe some old dude from Mirba6 will be able to make a legal claim that he owns part of the south west United States :D

It could be our promised land as well...:)
Definitely all of humanity has been lied to about our past, and our great civilisations from tens of thousands of years ago have been hidden from us and erased from memory.
Or maybe they just didn't make enough promotional DVDs.

Well, Qawm 3aad (People of Aad) lived between Saudi Arabia and Oman, in the Rub3 Al-Khali, somewhere near Dhofar. It is said that Qawm 3aad were different than other human beings god created. They were massive, their houses massive and had sky scrapers .. they achieved a lot of things we achieved now. They were a great civilization, but they denied god and he punished them by wiping them out of the planet. Their land was nice and green, look at it now, a DESERT!
So if they achieved all that, I wouldn't be surprised if they reached the America's.

Wooooooooot!! This is amazing! :hyper:
We should get our land back, America is ours :hmm:
I don't know...maybe they will only keep it for the descendents of 3ad, and Arabs will still be suspicious foreigners there :hmm:

Umm, does anybody else find modern day Colorado a strange destination for sea faring ancient Arabs to journey to?
Wel..it's a pretty long way from the sea eh? So yeah, my question is...where's all the evidence between there and the coast...?
But you never know..maybe they navigated a river for hundreds of miles, looking for a city to trade with?
