Endure Whisper 04-03-08, 12:41 PM How do you clear your doubts about Islamic issues?
1) Do you search for the answers online?
2) Do you call the Iftaa office?
3) Do you have a sheikh that you always rely on?
4) Family member/friend?
5) Follow what makes sense to you?
I clear all my doubts by calling my dad. He's a religious person and he always has all the answers that I need.
I usually ask, if it still does not sit well with me, then I follow what makes sense to me.

It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allâh and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allâh and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed in a plain error.
FAITH86 04-03-08, 07:18 PM I read about any doubt I have either online or from the books we have at home and follow what makes sense to me.
Arabian Princess 05-03-08, 06:36 PM I ask a scholar, if I am not convinced with the answer I discuss it with people I can depend on having an open mind (dad, my husband) and if I find that what I am thinking makes sense not only to me but others too .. then I continue searching until I find an explanation that makes sense.
I think it is very important to ask scholars. They have deeper knowledge about Islamic issues and the Quran and Hadith. Yet, I dont think its right to rely entirly on them. You need to use the brain Allah has given you to think and questoin.
I ask reliable and trusted religious people and i also ask my heart for many cases if the issue is not mentioned in the Quran or Sunnah. And I also search.
