I watched Eastern Promises on DVD today..It was really excellent. Great performances especially by Viggo Mortensen who was also nominated for an Oscar for this role. Very bloody and disturbing at some points but the story is just really captivating and a little heartbreaking. Kinda makes you think that your life might not turn out the way you hope it would. Beautiful music score by Academy Award winning 'Howard Shore' as well.

^ The version I watched was yes..the full version...and boy..he really was completely naked there..u could see everything. lol

i watched it too...i give it a 7/10 wasnt thaaat exciting to me(or maybe cause i watched it in a bad mood),and yes i saw the sauna part too

I watched this time back. It was great movie. But, there was something missing.

Any movie directed by David Cronenberg is class. A History of Violence is also brilliant.
