Factory dumps pollution into the water and air because that's the most efficient way to produce wood pulp or steel. A TV or radio station or magazine dispenses sex and violence and "pollutes" a culture because that's the most efficient way to produce audiences. It pays to pollute. The psychic fallout is just the cost of doing buisness.

I consider the world we live in is completely polluted, in all possible ways pollution could happen! I think it's almost impossible to control it; if we want to live upto standard, we have to accept them.

No one forces us to watch or browse unethical or immoral stuff. I don't believe that what's surrounding us has more control on us than we do. Only weak ppl are the ones who go wherever the wind takes them.

Yes i believe all cultures are polluted now and in a poisonous way too. But God also gave us filters ( Our mind ) to clean up this pollution or even to avoid it, ignore it and drift away from it.

No one can force us to do anything but we still do it. Why? Because it's nature. We always want to do and try out different things. If I stop, will you? If you stop, will I? Not necessarily. We're all different people, very different, there are the weak, there are the strong. Whoever we are, we still find it impossible to change the fact that we're living in a polluted world that has no change, not soon enough atleast.

But we can change it by taking a stand and to avoid being influnced by these images and thoughts potrayed by the media. With the way that cultures are being polluted and destroyed these days, we need to step back and look at the big picture. It's scary how languages and behaviours are dissapearing and morphing into one homogenous "culture" that strives on sex and violence. There's no denying this is happening and it's getting worse.

We need to do that. But can you convey that message to everyone across the world and make sure they do it? I doubt it!

Yeah that's a hard task. A bit of wishful thinking even.

But I guess the main place to start is with your family and society.

Dating culture is dead - instead, young New Zealand women are regularly getting drunk and cruising around in packs looking for men to have sex with.

Not really but it does now =\

The fact that sex is promoted by the universty here really upsets. Instead of having good cultural events during Orientation week, competetions like who can run naked around the uni's campus and show us what you do to your girlfriend at night is promoted more instead. Really sad.

And also the different vulgar TV shows being aired and the low self-esteem giving mags :p
