I read this on a post in some other forum,

History does not bear such out though. The Catholic Church as a distinctive body
cannot be historically traced beyond approximately A.D. 606.

If the Catholic Church is a man-made tradition, can someone at least tell me when the Catholic Church over-hauled the True Church?

the Catholic church started at Pentecost, 50 days after Jesus instructed his disciples to go and preach his teachings.
as to 606A.D, that is ridiculous, in Malta, we have catacombs with 'graffiti' etched on them showing that Christians were gathering and celebrating mass as early as 60A.D, the time when St. Paul came to Malta. He converted most of the island, and left his governor, St.Publius, as a bishop here.
Our history goes way back before 606A.D...Costantine the Great was emperor at 330 A.D..there was a pope at those times as well..google a bit ;)
