Renault-Nissan diesel powerplant is expected to follow the initial engine offerings, arriving in a couple years as a 2011 model. In addition to the diesel motor, a Toyota-developed hybrid system may also be offered – and we’re expecting this as early as the 2010 model year!

Interesting, so by 2011 they might use the Diesel engine and Toyota's Hybird engine. But thinking pollution wise, using Diesel is more effective. Well, looks like a bright future, Lol.

I am not sure if this Maxima will come here with the existence of the new Altima. Probably as always, its for North America.

Nice, fast, comfortable car that's reasonably priced. It even drives well. I never knew that's how the latest Maxima looked like.

It'll definitely be a hit with the Omani people, given the number of Maxima's and Altima's on the roads. :)

To be honest .. if its only a little cheaper than the Altima .. I wouldn't bother getting one .. I would rather put a bit more money into it and get an Altima!

its wont come to oman..they still sell the old shape here..the altima is the subsitute in the ME region

oh and, the 2nd shot, looks alot like the yaris!

^ The music box system is very common in luxury cars. I know Lexus and Cadillac have them for sure. It's very uncommon to find it in standard cars such as a Camry or Accord though.

I don't think it looks bad at all. Quite an improvement I must say from the last Maxima's I've seen in Oman. I agree with NiGhTFaCe about the tail lights...

The interior is awesome, but I'm guessing that's the top of the range model which will cost substantially more than the others.

Mazda 6? lol, if i don't go for Mustang, S2000, EVO, Wrangler, A4, 525i, Camry, and, Lumina, then i'll go for this.

Not bad looking. Bit like a BMW 5 series with a fat butt. Doesn't move me though.
