This is a strange thing, people say just static don't work about it. Well it might be static but I am getting shocked 20 times a day!

From morning when I wake up, from under the blanket when I move my hands i can see sparks when the hands rub with the blanket.

When I wear my dishdasha, it makes those spark noises and then sticks to the body. (I wear undershirt so it shouldn't but it does!)

When I get to the car and touch it, it gives me a shock.

When I come to the office, the glass door has a steel handle, when touched I'm shocked.

When I get to my desk, and touch my chair, I get shocked.

When I shake hands with people, sometimes it shocks both of us.

The effects dissappear towards the end of the day, but it really makes me suffer from the shocks!!

Why does this exactly happen? People have told me about static electricity in our body and all, but is this that? Am I becoming an Electricity Man? How to stop this from happening anymore or lessen it?

stop wearing polyester.
happens to me all the time....i found out that charged plastic affects me a lot. ex at a kiddy playground..those little tikes slides, i can't even touch them. you can actually see the spark shooting to/from my finger.
if there's a faulty switch in the house, i am the first to feel it. nobody else does. then husband gets the tester, which obviously lights up, even though a tiny bit and i go 'see i'm not going nuts!'.
happened to me mostly when i was pregnant.
i wonder riv, have you missed a period lately? :hyper:
