This is one of Muscat Festival 2008 shows at the Qurum park. Where all cartoon characters (Barney, teletubies, etc).

I guess one of the nights they decided to change the routine & do something new.

MF ma'laya

I have no comments.

Just to show you guys that the Muscat festival is unprofessional

I saw this today morning and was so disturbed by it. Seriously if I was a child and I saw that I will be so scared. First of all those costumes are so tacky and cheap and freaky. And second, I do not wanna see a skinny Po shaking it's butt at me like that.

I guess they thought they were being cool or something...

Were they fired?

I wonder if it's one of the objectives of the festival is to corrupt the young generation.

Funny thing is, the kids didn't get to see the faces of their favo cartoon stars, but ended up seeing their butts only.

we blame the dancer or the organizers...

thinking cheap from the beginning will end up like that

the song itself is called 'Dagni', which can mean two things if you use it in an Omani accent or a khaleeji accent. In omni it means 'he hit me', which is ok, but in khaleeji it means ''he F***** me".

One guy's take on this would be, Isnt this song and dance just as bad as the other songs and dances that they offer in the festival?..

another guy's take on this would be, This is a khaleeji dance, and its an art just like many other dances.

my take on this would be, I've always thought the Teletubbies were gay..

Oh. My. God.

I couldn't even imagine that coming. Absolutely disgusting, I can't even imagine the idiot band was still going and people were still watching. They should've climbed on that stage and beaten those perverts.

I think it's time we told BBC what Tinky Winky and Dipsy've been doing at Muscat Festival.

Okay, I posted this video a week ago I think and it got deleted since it's an inappropriate video, I can't believe you posted the M3alaya video lol!

Anyway, I found it very disturbing and I don't think I'd be letting my kids go attend these shows in the future since clearly they are not supervised.

Any show directed at kids should be highly controlled. Just because this was in a festival, it doesn't mean they can hire cheap dancers and put them in a costume.

In my view, all the organizers in-charge of this should be fired, no matter what their position is. Even if this happened by accident and without the organizers' consent, their incompetency still can't be excused.

if I was the ruler of Oman I would have sacked Abdullah Abbas and flogged him 80 times and put him in Jail.

^ Umm, what's that got to do with him?

UmKhalid

^ I agree with Superbia. He's not the supervisor of that section, he puts the supervisors and trusts them in taking care of the place. I think this might tell him he should take his choice in supervisors more seriously.
