If a woman wants an income, independency and experience she can find it working outside or working inside her home. It’s just the environment that may change and type of experience she gains. A woman can be idle house wife and idle employee if she decided to do so.

Found a lot of house wives here in Oman are doing business from the comfort of their home and according to what they like doing the most. They raised will qualified children, and were able to generate their own income working from home. They mainly sell things or provide services from their home such as cooking meals, teaching Quran, stitching,...act.

On the other hand, some women in such as in many government sectors and some privet as will are idle and absent for more than 6 hours from their homes. Despite all of this some women may earn less than a house wife because all of the expenses attached to working outside your home and the increased demands from all whom knows you are a working women.

So what is the difference here now, between an employed wife or a house wife? at the end of the day the women in any situation can find her way, depends on if she is willing to work or not.

So we got to believe a house staying women doesn’t mean always she is “idle” and vise verse.

The term 'working from home' still didn't reach this part of the world, yet.

Plus if you prefer being a house wife, so be it. Not all women stay home & not all work.

The difference between working from home and working ouside the home is socialising.

If you work outside the home, you can add that to your "social life".

If you work inside the home, you're simply doing it to earn money. Maybe it's fulfilling. Maybe it's just for that extra rial. But, from my own experience, nothing feels better than waking up, putting something nice on, a little makeup, fix my hair and get out the house into the sunshine, into the awaiting world out there.

Working from home means you can practically live in your PJ's. After 3 years of that, I'm ready for them heels again. Roll on October.

If we are talking money wise than maybe stay home moms are making more money than those women who work for a low paid jobs mostly because of the hard life circumstances like poverty and lack of education which leads to doing any job that can help bringing food to the table.

I personally never met or heard of Omani women who are earning more money by cooking, stiching or teaching people how to read Quran and if so can you give us names/figures please?

Women should plan their future well and the best way is by getting education a good one which qualifies them to fill in high paid jobs, think about money because it matters since we can not depend on people around us for the rest of our lives its time for us to be serious and truly get involved on the money making process ;)
