It's on again tomorrow - same venue, same timing
No comment on the crappy photographs, it was SO damn hard to focus, you've got a stupid lens and you're trying to get a good frame and a good focus and you have a split second to do that.
I don't want to change the subject of the thread, the air show must have been cool and all, buts its just funny that Saudis tend to use every weapon they get for entertainment!
They started dancing with swords, then rifles, cars (6afheett) and now planes :p
pixie girl 31-01-08, 05:15 PM Oh no! The birds!!!

Almost every air force of any country has a fleet for aerobatic shows, even the Omani Royal Air Force. :) So it's not about "Saudi Arabia" using every weapon they got for entertainment...
Amjad, I am sure you're right. That was stupid of me. But I am sure, just like the swords and guns, these planes are more being used for entertainment than anything more strategically important :)
Anyhow, lets not ruin this thread.
Back to the main topic, entertaining or not, was it?
AMARANT 31-01-08, 06:35 PM yah i understand how it's tough to take focused shots of flying planes!

Footy_Gal 03-02-08, 03:10 PM Thanks Queen
AP ... thanks lol.. no one can insult my lens but me :p
it's no ordinary 'crappy' kit lens, it's a clicky lens, i fell with it a while ago (don't even ask) it clicks when you zoom in/out haha
i promise myself that i'll get at least 1 new lens come june
UnKnown 03-02-08, 03:31 PM Thanks Queen

Footy, you are loosing much of your cameras potential with that kit lens, you'll be amazed of how much more quality your EOS 400D can produce if used with a Canon L series lenses. If you need any advice on which lens to get on your next purchase, let me know!
Remember, it is the kind of photography you like that determines the type of lens you should get, whether it's a zoom, macro, wideangle. etc...
Keep up the good work, you have the eye for it. :)
