Nothing happens to me:os

I watched a documentary on TV once that carried out a few test to prove if candy actually made kids hyper. Turns out it didn't...they're just hyper when they're around each other whereas give a kid some candy and leave him/her alone in a room watching TV or something...nothing happened.
I think it's more of a psychological thing than biological.

Still love candy though:love:

My sweet little nieces do get hyper, after chocolate, or fizzy drinks, which all contain sugar, so no, you r not alone

i think what's added to the sugar makes the kids hyper.
i find in my classroom that sugar makes the kids sluggish. that's why i forbid sweets in class (for many reasons) because alongside the sugars, the flavourings do make kids hyper. especially if they have a condition like adhd or autism.
i find that sugars (like cakes and sponges ) make kids sluggish and loosens their concentration. unrefined sugars, such as sugars from fruit and slow burning starches are much better for children.
