The only thing I am not afraid of in a marriage is going to the Mosque for the Milka.

Is this some kind of fear or phobia?
Becuase I never seen anyone afraid of it...
I can't believe I am afraid of it...

I told my mom: "I will do the Milka ONLY and I DON'T want a party!":bored:

you are afraid because you doubt yourself and are afraid of the responsibility. I dont know anyone..i dont know of any story who the guy was not afraid of getting married..
marriage is a big thing and HUGE STEP in one's life. So of course you will be afraid.
But it wont be as bad as you think ..as long as you marry the girl you love and she loves you, you will be ok :hmm: inshallah :)

I don't like crowds (esp. when I was around your age) but will deal with them when placed in that situation and so will you squinty as you get older your toleration level will be better (except when you get really old)....

Umm i went through the same phase dont worry but the ony way i got over that phase was my older sis gettin married and now pregnant made me happy and want to get married honestly...:p

I get what u mean. I feel the same way. Also the fact that there are too many unfamiliar faces adds up to it and makes it more uncomfortable.

If it's mostly a fear of crowded places then just keep putting yourself in the middle of them until you get used to it. That's the conquer the fear in my opinion :)

You need to get rid of this mentality squinty. The only thing standing between you and overcoming any obstacle is yourself. Human beings can change, and they do that by first having the will to change.

So yeah you do feel uncomfertable in crowds, but you need to keep going into crowds and feel the discomfort. Calm yourself down and just don't think about you fear and eventually it will dissapear.

I am talking to you out of experience, I went through a time where I had many fears as well. And one day I realized that they are all meaningless, and that I'm letting these fears control my life and cause me worry for no stupid reason. Life's too short for that :)

Its less than a day just 2-3 hours actually. It'll pass quickly and before you know it, its over.

It depends on my mood and who will be there i guess...
I can't just go to a crowd and go in the middle..
I am already in a country I hate... Even after 4 months I still have the same feelings for it... So it is not easy...

I know it's not squinty :) It takes time and effort to get over fears. Inshallah you'll be able to do it :cute: Just dont worry too much about stuff

Actually, she's a tough and courageous person. Marry someone like her and you can sneak into the crowd behind her with a perfect sense of security.
