Assalamu alikum Wr. Wb.
Yesterday, was a very cowdy lecture given by His imminence sheikh Ahmed Al-Khalily Grand Mufti of Oman.
Yesterday, looks like as it was my first time to attend such a lecture for that great, beloved and respected person. I can not descrip neither anybody else can do.
Yesterday, my body was shaking and all my parts was not in the normal mood when I saw the fearing from ALLAH tears came out from his eys. This has happend in a lecture or let me say it was a warning to everybody.
He has delivered his speech, and the reaction which was evident on the faces of all audiences who were present one must ask him self a series of questions. About the long term effects, on the strategic planning of different sectors of our life; the working environment, the family development, the self appraisal, and so on. Individuals are expected to vary in response (as they always do)depending on many factor amongst which what is known as “ the background”. But certainly, the strong believers on Allah and his messenger WILL change directions or rather strive for a better look into their lives. They will strive to reach for happiness and the blessings from Allah by obeying his RESPECTED commands. They will strive to FLEE from hell to heaven. They will strive to protect themselves and those they are responsible for.
Now I would like to share with you the following and would like to receive your assistance and recommendations on how best we can achieve what our beloved and respected Mufti expected us to do:
How serious was our beloved and respected Mufti. Oh, He was very serious indeed. Now come the next Question. How serious do I take the matter…??.
Our beloved and respected Mufti talked about five major misdeeds (Kabaair); their causes and consequences. He addressed the issue from different angles to ensure the clarity and emphasised the importance and the danger of these misdeeds.
What are the corrective steps, the recovery plans, the software the hardware, the accounts, the skills.. the …the…etc which I will take to ensure a safe navigation of the ship I am sailing in…??.
Our beloved and respected Mufti addressed two issues and outlined some recommendations:
Tarbiah- Bringing up of the new generation and developing one-self in a particular unique Islamic way.. Do I have a clear vision on this issue. Do I have a CLEARLY DEFINED RESPONSIBILITIES towards this issue??
Daawah and in particular Dawah alfardiah (Dawah of Individuals). Do I understand this aspect?? Is it applicable to my working environment?? Can I participate in it?? Can I apply it to my friends?? Are they going to accept it, reject it, hate it,.. love it etc. ??. Will they foresee the benefits, the rewards.
Brothers and sisters?? I am sure that this sort of questions are in your mind. I am more than confident that you have better answers, better plans and much better performance in practising Islam than I do. Please let us put our hands together and help each other by caring for each other and sharing the knowledge of Islam. May Allah Subhanahu Wa Taala grant our beloved and respected Mufti the blessing and give him the reward of accompanying the Prophet Mohammad in the Heaven. May Allah also grant us the guidance and the success in following his commands and save us all from ATHAB JAHANNAM.
So you, "Mr Sleeper":-
Wak-up, and clean you face from depris. All of you are accountable if you do not call for Dawaah. All of you are accoutable in you life, wife, sons, daughters, mothers, brother, neighbours and all.
Is it not the time to be back to Allah, and direct your self to the write track.
Be-carefull all of you, and make sure that the ALLAH punishment will be for all of us not for thos who do bad deed.
