Hi,
I just started browsing the arabic sabla today. The problem I faced is that the arabic words appear "sliced" or not joined to gether as a word. which requires me to try and figure it out and decreases my efficiency in reading. I guess that mu software is not supporting arabic language though my other microsoft programmes work well with arabic. If you know anything about this problem please let me know how to fix it. BEAR in mind i'm not a computer guy and my expertise in IT is limited to a user's area. so kindly go easy on me.
Thank you.

from all i no i would say that there r some missing -or incompatible- components (files) in ur IE software, try uninstalling the software, then reinstall it, u can get the latest full internet explorer software from (Internet AlAlam Alarabi magazine CD) -that's if u live in an arab country- if u live in the usa, uk or any other country where u cannot get this magazine, then just install the version u've got, then go to windows update site, and from there u can get the update for displaying arabic fonts properly..

hope this will be useful to u.. and sorry for taking such a long time to reply..

thanks for the advice, indeed I upgraded my ie4 to ie5.01 from the Windows magazine and it worked well. apart from the system (repeatedly) to istall the arabic text support. however, arabic text appears well on the screen.
thanx again
