Do you have your priorities straight?Do you have things in your life planned out or do you live day-by-day?

I think i do have my priorities straight. Right now my main focus is getting my degree. I'm an organized person, so i try to plan out everything, even small things like weekend outings. If i lived day-by-day i would go insane! That system doesn't work for me. I'm not a spontaneous person.

I'd say I'm half half...I know what I want but am also spontaneous so my plans could change in a heartbeat

I don't have anything really planned out.. I've got an idea of what it is I want.. and where I wanna end up.. How i'm gonna get there.. Is a mystery I'd like to find out day by day,, So That's how im living ;)

i have it all planned out, but at this particular time i hav to choose between 2 ways, just confused and dont want time to drift at one place even though i want both!

I take each day at a time.

I like to have plan, to know what I want, when and how I will achieve that. But if it doesn't go my way, it makes me very upset and disappointed. So one day at a time it is. I expect the worst and hope for the best.

You can still have your priorities straight but live day to day.

I have my priorities straight and for now, that is receiving my education and straightening the path of my career. In the future (if I am blessed), it is going to be my husband and children. All the while, the priority of being a family member never ceases to exist as in being a good daughter, sister, grand daughter, niece etc. To have fun, and giving your social life its importance too.

I wish I could launch a missile to Ross now, thats my priority.

Well its a bit of both on my case. I can't always plan everything so sometimes I just let things happen, how bad does that sound now I said that? lol

ok... to tell you the truth...
I love planning my day.. think of what i can do and want to do.. set times for it...
I don't know why but I have always been like that and people have told me to live day by day..
But I hate just sitting there and going like: "What can I do now....?"

Things happen and life changes...No matter what you do, your plans are never carried out as accurately as you thought they should, so why bother?

That is irrelevant to what will actually happen. It may prepare you a little, but even then, not much...

Day by day sort of person. Planning my life is just too boring..pff..

i love you answer threadlike. in the end, we are not in control. That's why i never bother to plan my day..but i can set goals at least. I can say that i WANT to get married, have kids then maybe work..etc...
though i truely believe that i may not even live till tomorrow, life would be kind of dull and boring if we didnt know what we atleast wanted in life. i know we are not in control but at the same time, we are..on a small level. We dont know when we are going to die..we cant say, "ok i will cross the highway, if it is meant for me to die, then i will die" lol, ofcourse that is irrational. He can control himself by NOT crossing the highway. do you see my point?
i think i am drifting from the main point. lol..in the end..i agree with you.

I tend to take each day as it comes, so I don't plan in advance and I have no clue what I'll be doing next or where I'm headed, but I guess right now my life revolves around being a full time student. My main goal is to graduate.

I live my life day by day i never make plans even if i do it never goes the way i want it to so i just wait for things to happen..
