THX certfied, they must be really good. Unfortunately though, I'm not interested in surround set, just a 2.1.
You deserve a *bump* ;)
These are really really really really good speakers. Anyone who's in the market for some should get those. The price is a little high but I'm sure with a little heckling it'll come down.
Too bad I can't get 'em.

thanks guys ...
they are the best 5.1 pc speakers out there..
here is one of the best reviews i read about the speakers ..
But excess can also get you into some rather weird and bad situations also. Take me for instance, I am happily testing the system volume levels out in the Tweaknews office by gaming and listening to a little Lil' Jon & the Eastside Boyz and I thought all was well..........until the next morning.
At 9:00am I was woken up with a rather loud knocking at my suite's front door. Opening the door revealed the building's property manager handing me a noise violation complaint that was filed and the manager's office by my next door neighbor. This would sound perfectly right seeing I was easily hitting 130+dB when testing the system at higher volume levels but there is one interesting thing I have to inform you about my neighbor...........
She is completely deaf........No joke, she can't hear a thing. Nadda...Zilch....
What I guess caused her to file the complaint is that I cleared 13 pictures off of the adjacent wall where our two suites attach. And yes, that wall was the same wall where the subwoofer was placed. From what I was told, I vibrated that wall so badly that almost all of her paintings, photos, trinkets or whatever vibrated and fell down.
So what's the moral of the story? This system is so loud it will piss even deaf people off.......

for how much you bought it?
Honestly id buy it off u witout any Q's but i wish i was in the same country ur at rite now...:(
frankly, no matter how good these are I wouldn't pay a 100 rials for *used* speakers.
plus these cost $250. in amazon.com, if i buy from master card it'll be charged as 98 rials, plus shippin etc will come after dat. max 110 rials, so 10 rials less for used?

Your point about the price is valid, but remember, Amazon wont ship electronics to international address's, and most online retailers who do international shipping will charge at least 100$ to ship a 5.1 surround speaker set internationally. Also, you wont get warranty with the items you buy online unless your in the U.S.

when i bought those speakers they were above 350$ in the usa. I dont know how much they are sold here in oman today but i think they still go for 140 rials. i usually buy most of my hardwares online .. but this speaker and my pc case i bought them here in oman. since i would have paid double if i shipped it from usa to oman due to its weight.
It very heavy around 30kg .. u can use aramex to ship from amazon to oman. shipping with aramex will cost u 159.4 rials only for 30kg + 250$ for the speakers. Now thats cheap !!!
and if u ended up with a defective speakers .. im sure u have warranty but u only need to pay 159 rials to send it to usa to get a replacement and 159 rials to get them back
