CAIRO, Egypt -- Omar Osama bin Laden bears a striking resemblance to his notorious father — except for the dreadlocks that dangle halfway down his back. Then there’s the black leather biker jacket.

The 26-year-old does not renounce his father, Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, but in an interview with The Associated Press, he said there is better way to defend Islam than militancy: Omar wants to be an “ambassador for peace” between Muslims and the West.

I wish him all the best

Muslims offer peace to whom really want peace

and offer blood to the invaders of our muslim countries, including Israel no compromise on that.

Why not.

But maybe the west will be afraid from him, that is why they need to be open minded.

His wife is 52 years old and he is 26, how true is that?

This is good to hear but the name recognition is going to kill any chances of him having any success.

lol he's totally different from his father.
As a matter of fact, his father is totally different from the rest of the family!
that's good, sons are always rebellious, hope he achieves what his father did, in his own scope

What a ****in' tool !

I think a trip to the barber to clean up the mess above would be easier than world peace, so let's start there shall we.

I think she is, but I guess she looks after herself. Incidentally, young Omar is her fifth husband apparently. The family did not approve, so he was living off her income last I heard - they had cut him off, and he's unemployed.

I saw a documentary about them a while ago, they had gone to live in Egypt. First off they were having a few beers together in Sharm al Sheikh, then went to a cheap apartment in Cairo. Forget the terrorist egomaniac father though - what a fall for the son of billionaires!

In the documentary I saw, she was doing a lot of the talking. He just looked a little embarrassed. And, frankly, a bit stoned. But who knows...I'm sure he's a real peach.
