Inspired by the OneRepublic song with the same title.

Done from scratch in Illustrator CS - 4 hours

Perfect! This one is surely breath-taking! I love how you've demonstrated the concept behind it. Very creative I must say and the colors' brightness is so suitable too; not too bright or dark.

But I have to criticize something, I always praise you about it, but this time it isn't as impressive. The title could've been a lot catchier, something like: "It's too little too late." Nevertheless, great job! :cute:

I find it very meaningful. Usually I'd have to try hard to make out all the details and the message it carries. But this one's very simple yet expressive.

It's nicely done Nabs but the burnt end of the paper looks a little bit unreal somehow. I mean, it stands out. The flame is nicely done and the background. The construction of the paper is done meticulously...

I like it. 8/10.

Thanks so much all of you for your feedback. Yes I know that the flame and burnt bits are not perfect but it's really difficult to get a fire like look in vector format and also I did that without any references so it's a learning process and I'm still learning with every illustration I make because I purposely choose different objects because they have different textures and surfaces which results in a different look and a different method in illustrating it.

This was certainly not an easy piece but I guess I'm satisfied with what I was able to achieve.

But I gotta comment on that string, ..I just don’t like it it cuts down along the middle of the background. Maybe if you rotate the letter a bit and burn out the other end of the paper instead (down on the right). Just a thought, but I liked the idea.

Love the string and love the detail on the paper... the burning paper and flame need to be perfected.. but on the whole it looks great. :D

Nice work Nabs :cute: But I agree with Evana it would have been better off without the string in the middle holding the match. I love the curly colorful 'smoke' in the image...so beautiful!! Have you got a piece with the smoke on it's own only?

Really nice, but as some members pointed out that the match without the string would be better, but it's still nice, how you tied it. I like the textures of the burns and the flame.
I just learned how to play this song on the guitar the day before yesterday, ha-ha.
