The title says it all, what do you think of the statement and why?

Personally, I believe it's so true! Well atleast it is with me :p I have some guy-ish things in me, such as a loud/non-lady like voice and I love playing or watching football. Oh yeah, I used to play with WWF toys when I was younger, hated Barbies! :mmhmm:

I love shopping and make up and dressing in awesome outfits and all those girly stuff but not to the extent that most girls do.
I am crazy about video games!! I beat the guys at my uni when we have an unreal tournament session :cute: Oh it feels good to be a girl when that happens ^_^ I love fishing, snorkelling, playing football, watching gore...hehe I am not "banoota" (girly girl) as my friend said.
But for me to like these things makes me boyish? Nah...it's just what my intrests are :p I like killing stuff in games, but I also like looking fabolous and being dala3ed ^_^ If this statement was true, then every boy must have a girl within him :)

Well, scientifically speaking, every boy DOES have a girl withing him! :p It's because the male's body produces a certain amount of female hormones (estrogen). However, if the level of estrogen was higher than normal, they start getting complications, such as big breasts. Same goes for females, we all have male hormones, but those with higher than normal levels are possibly the ones with deeper voices, heavy facial hair, etc.


As for me, I neither like football nor action movies, and I'm not crazy about cars and video games, but I also don't enjoy long gossip sessions much and I don't like the feel of makeup on my face. Who said girls should be or act a certain way :)

Also according to Carl Jung's Analytical psychology every male has what is called the anima which is the unconcious feminine component in them while females have the animus which is the unconcious masculine component in them :p

I like cars and football and sometimes video games (when I'm good at it! :P). I like a lot of "guy stuff" actually. But I also enjoy being a girl with make up, dressing up, shopping and all those "girly stuff". So I guess there's a guy within me, lol.
However, I've been told that in certain guy discussions, my thoughts are based on feminine thoughts. Lool! But SOMETIMES. Hahahaha.

Not necessarily, why are cars, video games and football associated with boys? Who lay down that rule? It's just a stereotype, you can love those things whether ur a boy or girl :p

The lyrics make alot of sense, cos it's so true.

The thing is if we look at it from outside the box, a girl can do and like more things than a guy can which are sociably acceptable.

The whole "being like a girl is degrading" only sets the boys back. While as a girl, I can do girl things and boy things without anyone blinking an eyelid.

There's nothing I am afraid to try. Except lifting heavy sacks of cement and doing my back in. But, of course, there are tools to do this for you today so you won't need to anyways.

Give a girl a car engine and tell her how to service it. She'll wonder if she might not do it properly, but she'll at least try.
Give a guy a facial kit and tell him how to use it. His first concern is not "would I know how to do it properly?" ... is it?

I'd say there's definitely a 'guy' side to me when it comes to manual work and ability (like DIY), although I'm very very girly when the situation warrants. (like shopping time rofl)

I have two daughters and we're like a little "girls club".. lol.. and they're at the age of princesses and fairies.. all things pink, glittery and girly.

So last summer, I taught the 4 yr old the nursery rhyme:

Besides served in the Army (but I can still see a woman being a woman while serving) I used to love to play with my brother's toys and didn't mind getting dirty. I think the roles of men and women can be stereotyped. Like even today if I saw a boy playing with a barbie the way girls typically do I would be like ???? because it has been programed in me to view that as wrong. Something like that can be difficult to eradicate out of my system.

For me, I enjoy watching football matches and play winning eleven with my brother or watch scary and action movies but that doesnt mean i dont follow fashio and enjoy gossping.

This boy inside every girl might be more in some girls than other because of the environment they are in..if they are raised between boys then most likley she'll turn to a tomboy (but this is not true all the time :XD:)

When I was younger I was on all the sports team.. Never played with barbies much.. Watched Wrestling.. like it was a part of my life.. lol.. As I got older.. My interest in WWF and WWE Faded.. My love for fashion Exploded ;) .. On the outside.. You can't get anymore gurlier than moi.. I dont act or look anything like a dude.. lol .. Buttt on the insidee.. lol.. I still have alot a love for sports and although im not into wwf anymore.. I lovvvvvv UFC and Boxing! and still watch stuff like that regularly.. Sooo I'm positve theres a guy in all of us whether we act like it or not ;p
