4-ever-young 06-01-08, 05:34 PM Salams
Okay i am intrested in buying a second hand, good condition,7 seater car, i dont really mind what make (Toyota, GMC, Pegueot etc) or model as long as its not been affected by Gonu, and has no problems and should not be older than 2006 model. I am not willing to pay more than 6 k for it as well.
So if you know anyone who is willing to sell their car fitting the specs let me know by answering this or send me a pm.
Thanks

NiGhTFaCe 06-01-08, 06:56 PM I am not sure if a car of this category which is one or two years old can be less than 6000 Rials.
Though we got a second hand 2004 Toyota Previa. But, this was from Dubai, I am not really sure how much been paid.
Superbia 06-01-08, 07:21 PM ^ Yeah, in Dubai second hand cars are a lot cheaper.
AMARANT 06-01-08, 08:23 PM if Dubai is an option, i'd say go for it,,, much more choices at a much lower price ...
here it's kinda tough to get a car like that for less than 6K ...
4-ever-young 06-01-08, 10:00 PM Thanks guys for your comments i thought as much but thought i would give it a try and i dont really think Dubai is an option. I feel that guys there mistreat the cars and sell it not very comfy with the idea!
Oh well :( if anyone of u hear anything please let me know
AMARANT 07-01-08, 01:33 AM ^^^ if that's what ur worried about,,, there are many places who can perform a Full check-up for any car u would want to buy...
and u can even check it at the dealer, and check the history
just my .02$
Kamakazy 07-01-08, 03:54 PM a 7 seater for less than R.O 6,000 and not older than 2006...
You will need to look really hard for a deal like that, and once you find one go for it...
There is a new Suzuki the XL that is introduced recentlly... try talking to the deal and see if anyone is intrested for a trade in...
You can get a new or nearly-new Kia one for that. They make two 7 seaters from what I remember. The little one was a bit small really, there is no boot space if you have the rear seats up, and no headroom. But the bigger one was quite nice to drive, i tested it a couple of years ago. I think it's called the "Carnival" or something in Oman.
Depends how much you care about the badge, but for sure they are the cheapest 7 seaters with a lot of spec for your money, and if you want a one year old model for 6k, I think that's probably your only option.
Superbia 09-01-08, 06:44 PM There was an advert on 'the week' : A 7 seater Pegoet (Or however you spell it), anyways it was for 5,800 something rials and it was a 2006 one. Good luck!
4-ever-young 09-01-08, 07:32 PM Thanks guys for your input i can see that its not easier said that done. We are going to look at the one in MHD the one JUVE'ntiniya mentioned.
Kamakazy and Mimosa thanks for your suggestions the Suzuki and KIA might be an option might have a look tomorrow.
We will just be using this car for a year as we then plan on buying our dream cars then in sha Allah, and we just need a bigger car to accomdate the new family member who is due soon in sha Allah.
Kamakazy 10-01-08, 02:36 AM keep us posted :)
AMARANT 11-01-08, 08:54 PM the suzuki XL-7 is really nice, a very reliable car, and not expensive :)
but definatly more than 6K
4-ever-young 15-01-08, 10:59 AM Thanks Amarant will check it out, have not been to see the cars yet as i am not feeling too well, hope to get a chance this weekend in sha Allah.
