Who is easy enough to carry even with a 20kg bag of rice under each arm, a bottle of soy sauce between her teeth, wasabe pressed into her ears (big ears then, preferably), and a big sharp knife tucked in her "penalty-kickers".

first time i went to japanese was when i was 17 with a then boyfriend on new year's eve.
i had never eaten japanese before and neither did he.
it was an uber posh restaurant.....anyway...
there was a dollop of green wasabi paste on the side of the plate...
i picked it up gingerly with my chopsticks and put it whole in my mouth and swallowed it.
Sweet Mary mother of Jesus....i sweated buckets in my gorgeous evening gown...i oh so wanted to spit it back out and wipe my tongue off..instead, cos it was a poshy restaurant with posh people eating i had to suffer it and feel my makeup run down with the sweat that was coming down.
