Here’s a few medical facts that really caught my eye:


• The average human eye can distinguish about 500 different shades of gray.
• The average person has at
least seven dreams a night.
• The average person has over
1,460 dreams a year.
• The average human dream
lasts only 2-3 seconds.
• The average adult loses 540 calories with every litre of sweat. Men sweat about
40 percent more than women.
• On average, people fear spiders more than they do death.
• Every day, the average person swallows about a quart of snot.
• It takes 17 muscles to smile and 43 to frown.
• The brain has no sensation of pain, even when it is cut!
• A kiss for one minute can burn 26 calories.
• A fetus that is four months old will become startled and turn away if a light is flashed on the mother’s stomach.
