I don't think the price is tripled but if you noticed any cheating in prices you can inform Oman's Commerce and Industry Chamber since they're in charge of these things.

Charm, when you become 30 you WILL be able to build a house at a CHEAPER price relatively to the current inflation.

The problem today is that there is a shortage in the number of companies producing cement, so far i only recall only one company name that produces cement in oman... and since the number of houses and building projects are greatly increasing, there is a shortage of supply from the companies' side, so they have no other choice but rising their prices! its merely predictable. but by the time you reach 30 there would possibly be new companies established and as the number of similar companies increase, there will be more competition and eventually the prices will drop as there will be no more shortage of cement and building matrials to supply. every economy will have to face continuous booms and slumps... if we were currently at a slump, we shall be at a boom someday later... the problem is that we dont know when will "later" come.
