Any good programme that can provide a nice easy user friendly creation of Images slide show and then burning it to a CD or DVD??
with titles and maybe some music /animation adds?

There are tons of them out there.

I use IrfanView, its free, user friendly and with lots of features

Thug, I am sure you already know how to use Microsoft PowerPoint, you can use that to create a simple and nice slide show with animation, text and background music.

You can do that as you would do with any normal presentation, but later save it as a Slide Show. Check this link:

but to Burn the power point slide show to a CD then to run it on a lets say (Normal TV DVD/VCD/MP3) player???
