Hello everyone

I haven't been around for ages, so sorry about that. I hope you are all well.

I am travelling to Beirut in January and wondered if anyone had any tips on where to stay, what to do etc? I'm there for a week with my work but will want to have a look around if possible.

Best wishes

Talius

I'll be damned...hello mate, I've only just come back myself. I don't know Beirut that well, but I've been there a couple of times staying at the Crowne Plaza. All I can say is it's a great city, people are friendly, girls are pretty, it's not cheap but cheaper than London and the food is good. They've got history, scenery, night clubs and pretty much anything else a tourist would want, so good luck!

What do you do for work? If you PM me, I might be able to hook you up with a friend of mine who will show you around.

When I went there they were very kind, and because it was my first visit, the passports dude said special welcome to Lebanon and gave me six months multiple entry visa for free :)
