For about 100 you can probably get a "starter kit" of something like a Squier stratocaster with a small amplifier etc, brand new. What kind of guitar did you have in mind?

^ True they are costy even the used ones unless they are in a very bad condition than it's a different story =l

a Yamaha starter kit used to cost around 70 in Al-Araimi downstairs before Gonu hit, I don't know about now though.

Yes, he's looking for a starter kit, since he won't be using it that much. So a guitar and an amp would do it. And I'm sorry, the price range was from 60-80.

It's a black samick.. I'll give it to you straight, the "only" bad point about this guitar is that it's bridge doesn't work properly (the white thing with the gear coming out of it, see the picture), it doesn't effect the guitar in anyway if you don't touch it, and beginners can't use it anyway.. Other than that, pickups are clear, neck is smooth, and it is excellent for beginners.. I'm selling it for 35 rials, if your friend is interested, let me know..
