I am sure there are appartments around that price in Al Ghubrah or Al Athaiba.

Good luck finding anything for 200 rials in Muscat. Last I checked one bedroom apartments in Athaiba were going for 350 rials.

I might be able to get you a 2 bedroom flat in Ruwi but only somewhere early Febraury. Let me know if interested :)

I'm afraid you won't find an apartment for less than 250 rials, not even two bedrooms and in Al-Khoud, let alone a villa for that price!

Well, we rent out two-bedroom flats in my grand father's building for 185-200. The building is in CBD area in Ruwi and in great condition. But in general, the situation is simply pathetic.

Im also lookin for a place to rent, anywhere in muscat, budget till 200, 2 bedrooms n up.

No comparison I guess... in Qatar the case is different. Salaries in Oman aren't as high as Qatar and also in Oman there wasn't a recent 100% salary increase or whatever...

It's more about the inflation I guess. Because many people are getting maximum 10000QR and yet, most 'appropriate' FLATS are 10000QR lol. Whenever they increase the salaries, rent prices increase.

That's why we don't want another salary increase, had a 15% one in the beginning of 2007 which messed everything up. Though massive rumors say that there is another 30% salary increase coming in the beginning of 2008. (OK, I'm going way off-topic now, lol)
