Here is a clip from the movie including the instrumental 'Elgy for Dunkirk', too bad I couldn't find the whole 4 minutes clip cause it's the best part of the movie which only includes the instrumental and no talking (no spoiler here either). It really is a stunning score. I'm sure more members will realize it's brilliance once they watch the movie. I've been listening to the score for 3 days now..it's just Beautiful and very moving.

Hi, thank you for posting the tracks but it seems they have been deleted already.
I love the quality of this movie, the actors that portrayed Cecilia and Robbie as well as the little Briony, the score for this movie and the way it was directed makes the movie absolutely stunning!
The ending though is somewhat disappointing, I hate movies that never allow any of the protagonists to win at all, it sucks - big time!

I'm pleased to see that this soundtrack thread managed to attract some new users to the site. I still listen to this on a daily basis, especially before going to bed..and I really hope Marianelli wins the oscar for his amazing work.

The score is without a doubt, beautifully made, so it would be fair enough to say that I do hope they win something for it, inshaAllah.
It would be nice to see James Mcavoy take home an award for his performance in the movie, but the competition seems really tight. =)

Absolutely stunning!

The score was enchanting and did not overpower in any sense. I like the use of the typewriter, it gave the film an added quirkness and speed when needed

Dario Marianelli deservingly won today the Golden globe award for best score. I'm glad he won this because this is without a doubt one of the best soundtracks ever composed. Here's to him winning the Oscar as well.

The movie also won the 'Best drama' award, but failed to win in any of the other 5 categories it was nominated in including best actress, actor and supporting actress.

Dario Marianelli truly deserves the award and I personally believe that he deserves to win the Oscars for his work as well. I mean, seriously, the creativity that was put into the soundtrack was just, as Briony's mom would say - STUPENDOUS! LOL =)

I haven't been able to get the music out of my head since I saw the film. I love the use of the typewriter in the music and how the urgency in the scenes is reflected in the score. So beautiful.
