i'm not a big fan of his.but i'd have to admit that he does have a good voice! his second solo album is rather better than his first ,with song written by the same people who write for celine dion and madonna! worth the listen i must say!

Soul Decision-No one does it better ****

fresh,funky, and nothing like other boybands do! this album has been out for a while now. This is the debut album from the canadian Boyband and hope to hear some more from them!

the third album from u.k boyband! quite a change i must say from their previous releases! with it's pop/rock feal..mixed with electornica and a bit of alternative! this is a must for all boy band lovers!

Sophie Ellis Bextor-Read my lips ***
ok...so this is not so new (released late 2001) but i thought that this should be mentioned! this u.k female singer first appeared in 2000 on the U.K #1 hit single "groove jet(if this ain't love)" which stopped victoria beckham's single from reaching the top spot making her the only spice girl not to have a #1 hit single! a year later sophie returns with her solo album all ready to set the charts on fire,,,sadly she fails to repeat the sucsess she had with spiller..but she managed to reach the runner up position. this album is filled with u.k pop which i must say drove me crazy when i first heard it...but eventually got used to it especially the acsent!
a good buy if you're into U.k influenced pop!

Best tracks: U.K #2 "take me home" , the rather irritating U.K#2 "murder on the dance floor" and "never let me down".

he's been here for over 6 yeard now..first he released his self titled debut album way back in 1998..then he sang the theme song for the pokemon movie in 2000..and now he releases his secong album and looks like he's gonna be big this time around! already certified platinum (one million units ) in holland and france! this is a pure RnB/pop ride..with nice heavy beats and funcky grooves! not to forget that he's an amazing dancer!!! fans of Craig david might find this interesting!

The great Bryan Adams is back after nearly four years of absence!! and i must say that this could very well be one of his greatest efforts to date!! of course this isn't very different from what he's done before, using almost the same prducers he always uses (same guy who produces for Shania twain,Celine dion) ! a must for all bryan 's Fans!!

well...i don't think that many people know her..although she's been around for almost twenty years now!! the younger generation might recognise her from songs by enigma as she used to be the vocalist in many of their songs! this is her 15th studio album and is fantastic as always! i can describe this album as if it was a a trip through space, as her voice is truely special! a must for all people who got bored from all those teen popstars..i know i am!!

lauryn hill is back !! well not really ,as this isn't actually a new album , for almost all song are just live versions of the original. but who cares she's great ! her previous album broke the record for best selling debut album by a female artist in it's first week sales , and went on to sell more than 6 million albums in the U.S and over 15 million worldwide! this album currently stands at #3 in it's first week on the chart.who knows maybe this will beat mariah's unplugged album and become the best selling unplugged album (Mariah sold 5 million).

thank you X-press..well most of the groups/artists over here are Relatively new except for ronan keating (he was the lead singer in fallen boy band Boyzone), and Lauryn Hill (she was lead singer in the very famous and successful band The Fugees). the rest are all 2 or three year old artists..! :)

As I have a CD writer in my new laptop, I am interested to try to copy some songs directly from the net. Can you suggest me some good sites where I can easily download them. I am interested in all the latest pop American & British songs, but also international music like French, African, Bresilian, Latino.

well..you can try kazaa (it's something like napster but better)..you can get it from www.download.com , another one is: www.audiogalaxy.com (regester for free and then download the satellite in order to download)..in my opinion it is the best site ..you can find all songs, new and old!
if you want to know the titles of all the chart songs you can always check them yourself from:

Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones **

calling all star wars fans..!! ok..so this isn't a pretty good release for other than star wars fans..as this is only music (instumental ) from the film. if it was any other composer (John Williams composed this one), i wouldve bought it! i watched the movie so i know what this is gonna be like. i wouldve preferred if James Horner (Legends of the fall, Titanic, The perfect Storm, A beautiful mind) had composed it, or Even John Barry (Somewhere in time , Swept from the sea, Dances with Wolves).

ok..this is pure RnB , and at it's best i must say! she first hit the charts way back in the beginning of last year (around april) with the single "I do" but sadly the single just reached the top 40 and then went back down, but in the end of last year the same single went back to the charts and hit it to #15!! so..that's when she was recognised! this album is cool, hip and full of attitude! a must for all RnB fans!!

This album is Pure hip Hop/R&B.i loved her first two singles which were more than amzing, and thought that her album would be similar to what the two songs sounded like! but after buying the album i was disapointed , as it was dull and lifless!! good effort, but not my cup of tea!!however.. it does have some good moments on it! three stars just for the first two songs!!

Brian Harvey-Solo ***

Brian was the lead singer in the very successful 90's boy band East-17. the renamed group (E-17) released their last album in 1999, but couldn't reach the high positions it used to score in the period between (92-97). then brian tried to establish a solo career, but sadly his mission was doomed to failure! this album was released early this year but never quite made it to the charts,Which led Brian to file for bankruptcy!! really sad to see such talent go to waste! this album is a mix between u.k garage and RnB, and features some rather good tracks!

Liberty X- Thinking it over **

last year the u.k delivered us a manufactured band called Hear'say who broke the record for best selling debut album and single in it's first week of released! The show was called Popstars...and Liberty X are the rejects of that show!! now after a year..and hear'say looking most likely to fall apart,as their second album flopped big time, Liberty X are making it big after their third singled topped the charts and established them as proper artists! well...in the end i think that all manufactured bands are crappy...and basicaly are just a scheme for record companies to make money!! this is typical U.K pop with a bit of RnB thrown in but that doesn't make them any good!! two stars just for making the effort! the rest is just ..Blah!!

Paulina Rubio- Border Girl ****

Yet another Latin chick singing in English! no complains what so ever! she's beautiful, as is her voice! the songs are catchy as are all the lating inspired english songs!! she first hit it big with her spanish debut album a year ago, and now she releases her full length english album, which is not bad at all!! fans of shakira , J.lo and Ricky martin would find this somewhat intersting!

Best tracks: U.S first single and currently climbing the charts "Don't say goodbye" , "Border Girl" and "Fire".

fans of spanish soap opera's might recognise this artists!! my sister use to love all those cheesy soap opera'a (Maria, Maria mercedez..etc).she has been around forever now..and has to her name many spanish language albums!! this album is somewhat different as it features some english songs that are rather good! typical latin to english!! four stars just for the english songs!!oh yeah.. not to forget that she's married now to Tommy Motolla (Mariah Carey's Ex-Husband)!!

well..this album was released a few months ago, but didn't really grab my attention until now!! well..after reading the she was the one who wrote jennifer lopez's hit single "PLay" i thought that i should giver her album a try!! i wasn't really excited especially after listening to her awful first single "AM to PM"! to tell the truth, it's an ok album with some rather catchy songs!! i think she's at the same level with most young female singers that come out these days!

Dave Mtthews Band-Busted Stuff ***

well..this is the follow up to last years 4 million selling Everyday , one million of that was moved in it's first week alone!! this looks set to do the same as it's already breaking records for the most pre ordered album via net! for those who don't know this is a cool blend of alternative rock that only this band can deliver!!

A walk to remember Soundtrack -Various Artists *****

well..i reviewed this album before but it got erased when the new sabla was created and i really think it deserves to be mentioned again as the songs on this are more than incredible, plus now the DvD of the movie is released which could be the main reason why the soundtrack re-entered the billboards album charts at #64 !every song on this is amazing , well written and produced, mandy moore is just fantastic and surely has prooven herself as an amazing actress and singer! well worth every $!!

weird title for an album!! but hey, it's cold play, their last album was titled "Parachutes"!! anyways, this is a great second album for a band that already achieved so much as their last album went on to to sell more than 7 million copies worldwide (3 million of those were in the U.K alone)!, a cool mixture of easy listening alternative rock, and really well produced!

Best tracks: The first single (with such beautiful backround music) "In my place" , "Daylight" , "Green Eyes" and " A Whisper".

well...he's been around for quite some time now but no one really noticed him, i'd say that he has a very good way of singing that graps your attention once you start listening to him, and you'd probably get addicted to his music after just a few listens!! his new song "Feel it boy" is currently climbing the billboard charts and would probably do well! with most of the songs produced by the great NEPTUNES (who also worked on britney's Slave for you song, and Nelly's Hot in herre") this is pretty much what you'd expect from a reggae/RnB record! check it out if you're into shaggy, diana King or even the Baha men!

Jennifer Love Hewitt - BareNaked ***

some of you might find this a bit shocking, but jennifer was first a singer b4 becomming an actress! she released a couple of albums in the 1990's but they didn't do as well as expected, and therfore she turned to acting, and became one of the most wanted female actresses (especially after she was given the title of : America's sweet heart!!!). anyways...this albums is as her previous, mostly guitar driven,with a little bit of pop, therfore it would probably fall into the alternative category. nice, but not for everyone!

very nice and relaxing i must say! , well...never really heard his music b4, and i only got to know about him cause he's using Patrick Leonard (madonna, Jewel, natalie imbruglia) as a producer on this album! heard a few tracks and i liked the sound of them, if you like ronan keating, or country music, then you might find this interesting! good use of instrument i must add!

Well....they were the first aussie band I heard.......I came to know their song "My Happiness" first...and its just AmAzInG!!! :eek: ..then when I got the album..I found the song "These days"....another stunning song!!!!!.....beside most of the album sounds good...

I heard the previous album too...and it also has quite good songs..they aint a new band nor....this album is very new..but its their latest....and I thnk its worth to listen to.....ya!.....its alternative music....who are they like....hmm...lets say coldplay in a heavier version maybe....

Daniel Beddingfield - Gotta Get Thru This ****

well...you all proabably know him from his mega hit single "gotta get through this" which topped the U.K charts last x-mas for three weeks, and is currently climbing up the charts in the U.S!! the second single was equally impressive, but not as memorable as the first, but still was a success (U.K #4)! anyways..this is an album packed with heavy U.K garage beats, with a little bit of pop put into it!! nice , if you're into craig david, and mis-teeq!

i would be surprised if some of you never heard of the dixie chicks . the combined sales of theor last two albums "Fly" , and "Wide open spaces" is more than 24 million copies , and this album is currently topping the U.S charts with first week sales of over 700, 000 copies!! the first single "long time gone" already had it's peak at #7 on the billboard 100! Folks...this is country music at it's highest form!!

hmm...another boy band trying to make it big? well..they actually proved themselves with their 2000 debut album "sooner or later" which featured their #15 smash hit "back again"! this album is quite different cause it's not the typical boy band formula that they're using on it!! kinda 60's pop/alternative!! something like the beatles i must say!! good if you like a change!! but this isn't my cup of tea!

after their 2000 album "crush" which sold more than 7 million worldwide , bon jovi bounce back to the music scene with this set of the usual formula they always use!! true it's a winnian formual but i think it's time for a change!! anyways...it's a good buy if you are a hardcore fan and isn't a dissapointment , but i hoped for something better!

Here is another Australian Artist(90% i think couldnt confirm!).... his first release was in 1998 with a single called "Black the sun" which was a big hit for him...then his album same titles...was released 1999. And then his second album was release: 1/10/2001....next month a Bonus edition album will be released ....of his second album "Watching Angels Mend" and some songs from the first album.

Kelly Rowland - Simple Deep ****

and it truely is Deep. great first solo album from the best member of the successful group DESINY's CHILD. a great mix of RnB/pop and a little pinch of soul to it. fantastic vocals, which in this record we can actually know how strong her voice actually is, plus a very good showcase of her song writing ability. at least she doesn't keep on yelling (unlike Beyonce!!).

Leann Rimes - Twisted Angel ****

the lovely leann rimes is back with a new album , and as good as any pop/country fan would hope it would be. she has the most beautiful voice , and uses it well on each and every song on the album. surely this will do well as most of her albums have . (she sold more than 22 mill in the U.S alone). nice, calming, and soothing. if you're sick of all the dance/ techno/ trance and RnB , then this is the thing for you.
