Globalization is not a trend by its own right. It is a growth phase for all civilizations, where the terms of such globalization is dictated by the language and ideology prevailing at the time. For example, Islam was oncea global power and Arabic was a global langauge. Muslims at one moment in time lifted all boundaries and all people and commodities travelled freely, as being proposed now by the WTO. So, globalization in its own definition is inevitable. However, could it be planned? Yes. A supreme power would definitely know that controlling the economic variables in our volatile world is a secured pathway to success and hegemony, and hence golobalization. This is what has beem done. It is not very negative, but we need to utilize it properly. We need to equip ourselves with modern technology and open mindedness to be able to absorb and re-express new ideologies.

Thank you for your reply, and if you can answer my question I want to now more about the effect of globalization on the trade and the socioeconomic status of the ordinady people especially in the 3rd world countries, since their products don't have the power to stand in the face of the developed countries' products. Thanks again.
