First of all, I'd like to congratulate whoever came up with the idea of this really nice site. Then about my topic, I came up with this idea pretty much from what I've seen here in the US and Canada. They have many joined leagues where the US and the Candaian teams play in one league, which really makes it interesting, being the compatative league that it already is. It adds somewhat of an international flavor to it. I was wondering what you guys think if may be the UAE and Oman had like a simliar thing? Say let's not start with the league right away, but how about a cup tournament that teams from both countries enter and play? Interesting? I really think it would improve the level that we play at, and it would somewhat be an interesting tournament. Please let me know what everyone thinks! Thanks.

Kramer, welcome to the Board, about ur topic its a great idea that will gain interest with the everyone i hope. but what league are u talking about? what sport? and how would it be arranged?

the problem of our football is not joined league, the problem is shared between the players, clubs, Assocaions, and GOSCAY. where they dont take sport as marketing event where they can get money and imporve players, grounds, and sports in general with it.

see what happen in Motorsports in Oman, why it improve and we have ppl won international event and we are know around the world with out rally drivers, cos thos ppl take that sports as a marketing and they can speak ENGLISH whil in the clubs they dont even communicat!!!!!!

I guess what you said about lack of good marketing in our sports has a lot to do with it. I agree 100% with you on that. I wish the local and the private companies in our region would show more interest and do something about promoting different sports in the area instead of just making money. How about giving back to the communities? Anyway, it was just an idea! I hope that I'd see the day it comes true.
