Drinking alcohol even in moderation — a large glass of wine or a pint of beer a day — can increase the risk of developing bowel cancer by 10 per cent, a Europe-wide study has found.
And drinking to two pints a day or around two large glasses of wine increases the risk by up to a quarter.

The more you drink, the greater the risk
But it should be understood that alcohol is a risk factor & not the only etiological agent
