Sleep talking is when a person unconsciously utters either meaningful or non-sense speech during sleep.. Of course a person who sleep talks would not realise it, but wakes up in the morning and is told that he was sleep talking by someone who heard him!
Do you ever sleep talk?!
Are you concerned about it?!
Do you try analysing your sleep talk "utterances"?!

90% of my family members are sleep talkers!!
That why I always try to avoid to sleep around some people!! I always have to get up just to make sure im not talking lol..just not to say something stupid!! It happened once when i was flying home, and the guy beside me was laughing at me!! ..so, yes, i'm very concerned about it!!
Most of what I say is not understandable.. all mixed chants from here and there.. All what i do about it is just go to sleep and when I get up I will get updated about what I said lol.

yah my family says i do sometimes, and i even get angry while talking!! :angry: but no one of them told me that for a while...

nah i dont think it will harm anyone, i was told i only talk crap, nothing understandabla or has a meaning, just mixed words...

Yes, I do Sleep talk lol and People around me don't even get me.
Once i was saying Lemonade for some reason lool I guess i was Quite thirsty!

Interesting to know that sleep talking runs in families! Maybe there's a genetic factor to it after all :cool:
Well I apparently do sleep talk alot! I didn't know that, until I got married. One extreme case, is that I kept calling a male name several times during my sleep!!! :omg: My husband was curious, asked me who "...." is? and I had no idea. It wasn't even a common name in the gulf! It sounded egyptian! I'm lucky to have an understanding husband. But I really wonder how on earth does sleep talk work?!
The latest sleep talk scenario is me shouting "get the chairs off my back!" :bomb:

no i dont think i sleep talk ..but there was this one time (somone told me) that i got up in my sleep and stood up and reached for the ceiling as if i was trying to get something..hahha.. i was laughiiiiiiiiiiiiing! but that was a looong time ago..i dont think i do that anymore!

LoL :hyper: .... well, who knows..maybe when you get married (i assume u're single?) you'll find out that you do! I never knew I do sleep talk until i got married!

I don't sleep talk or I don't think I do, my little sister used to when she was younger and she used to talk about things that happened during the day, I heard it usually happens when a person is really exhausted and had a long day. I have an aunt that talks when she's asleep and usually talks about the daily gossips and secrets she hears during the day, I heard from my mum that my other aunts don't tell her anything anymore coz everything reaches her husband when she's asleep :p

Yes, I do sleeptalk, but only when I am extremely exhausted. It's happened twice during the past two months. My sister came into my room really early in the morning one day to ask me where I'd left the car key and I started mumbling some stuff in what wasn't a recognizable language :os

Nah I don't sleeptalk, though I got some family members who do. When they do it's quite recognizable what they say.

Lol i dont do it but my mum and brother both do...Its hilarious they mix two different subjects together so it makes no sense at all! My mum was saying the other night "Just move next 2 the radiator you'll get warmer...I dont know its up to you whatever you wanna choose"...I was lyk hahahahaha!! As for secrets, nothing like that is ever revealed unfortunately haha!

Lol it’s only happened twice..well, to my knowledge anyway.
Someone called me in the middle of the night and apparently I picked up the phone and started talking while I was still asleep xD
The following morning.. I vaguely recalled the telephone ringing.. I thought I must’ve been dreaming. Then my flatmate told me she heard me talking, I checked my phone and there it was, a ‘received call’ from uae.
I’ve no idea what I said! ><
The person never called again xD

Well, I have a great true story to relate.
Once I was sleeping on a bunkbed with a housemate, Fritz. There was a huge clap of thunder and I awoke.
I turned to Fritz and said, "Is that what you call a cench?" (Notice that I knew this word clearly: "cench". In fact, I knew it so clearly that I even knew how to spell it correctly and I remember the correct spelling to this day.)
"What's a cench?", Fritz said.
"Oh, come on," I said. "Everyone knows a cench."
"No," said Fritz. "What is it? I've never heard of it."
"Don't be ridiculous", I said.
The conversation went on like this, back and forth, with Fritz getting angrier and angrier and Jeff getting more and more furious and outraged.
"Come on!", I shouted. "A cench! A cench! You know what it is! If someone told you they had never heard of a house, would you believe them!!!!!?????!!!! Everyone has heard of a CENCH!"
Well, Fritz hit the roof.
"Well that may be so!", he shouted at the top of his voice. "But I have NEVER. HEARD. OF A CENCH!!!!!!!!!!
He stormed out of the room and slammed the door behind him. I could hear him going up the stairs to the living room: STOMP! STOMP! STOMP! STOMP!
Then I could hear his voice talking to David upstairs in the living room. I couldn't hear most of what he was saying, but I could hear his angry tone. Then I heard David say, "CENCH???????" And I heard Fritz shout back, 'YES! CENCH!!!!!"
And suddenly, it was as if a mist cleared from my mind. I thought to myself, "There's no such thing as a cench." I went back to bed and slept like a puppy for hours. But Fritz could never get back to sleep, poor guy.
I can't remember what I thought a cench was, even though I can remember how to spell it. I have the idea I thought it was something like one of those baking ovens called kilns that have a very hot fire and you make pottery with them.
What did it have to do with a clap of thunder? Your guess is as good as mine. But if you ever find a good cench at a cut rate price, PM me. I'd like to have it around just for old time's sake.

not sleep talking but i did end up sleep walking once , woke up in the morning in the back seat of my car ...lol my mom thought i ran away
