The 80's will always remain my favorite musical era, love almost everything about the songs that came out back then and so many good memories are attached to them. Peter Cetera, Madonna , Richard Marx , George Michael, Martika , Michael Jackson, Roxette...you name it.

I love the 80's. It was my childhood. My dad was very 'musical'
and music was a large part of our lives. Always had an lp on or the radio or cassette in the car..

Some of my memories:

couldn't find the original..

Moonlight shadow - my favourite

Layla - Eric Clapton (love this)

Final Countdown - Europe

Still Got The Blues - Gary Moore (love the solo)

The 80's will always remain my favorite musical era,

Mine too!! Music will never compare....

I was always into the rock of the eighties - Scorps, Metallica, Def Leppard, etc.

The first rap/hip-hop - LL Cool J, Run DMC, NWA, Eric B & Rakim...

New wave - New Order, Soft Cell, etc.

R & B - Bell Biv Devoe, SWV,

And the best POP ever !!!!! At this point in time, the British were equally sharing the music scene. I miss this era :(

^ I realized that Scorpions are only popular in Germany...they barely had any success anywhere else.

I don't live in germany. :hyper:

Still loving you was played alot when I was a kid.

Maybe they had a larger success in germany because of the song "Wind of Change" having to do with the fall of the Berlin Wall..

Speaking of the Scorpions, Their only albums to sell over one million copies in the U.S is 1984's "Love at first sting" (3 million) and featured 'still loving you', and 1990's 'Crazy world' which featured 'Winds of change'. after and before that they barely made an impact out of germany..and it's only thanks to those two songs that they became well known elsewhere.
