Yesterday, I took the kids to the beach really early, because they are usually packed by noon and to also get there before the sun gets really hot.
It's called "Pretty Bay" although it's not the prettiest bay we have, it's not half bad...

Nah. Valletta is surrounded with huge fortifications and not a sandy beach in sight. Those are just beach houses. Houses that used to belong to the fishermen back in the days.. The place is "Birzebbuga" ... (pronounced Beer-zebbuja) meaning "Well of Olives".. some arabic members might make out the words...

Well, yesterday, my older daughter was so excited that we were going to the beach, that she unpacked the beach bag and packed it again about 3 times.
She only forgot to put her sister's swimming costume back in the bag! So the little one had to swim stark naked of course.
