Is it normal to feel that you're not really into your major?

I am graduating this year with a Bachelors degree in Information Technology and I like it, but I just don't see myself so passionate about it.

I don't read about hardwares, softwares and new technologies. I don't even visit the Information Technology Sabla unless I am really bored.. but even then, I'd just scan..

Is this feeling normal?

Yeah, I hate my major and it's not my thing at all (my math skills are practically nonexistent) but I'm still going to stick it out for another 2 years :os

it's a very common case... zillions never really like their majors for one reason or another...
they either do it for the job availability or cuz they're simply good at it even if they have no passion in that field.

i'm taking english literature and i'm not really into my major... i have passion for writing... yes... but if i took my real passion i'd go for art and drawing and graphic designing or even music. writing is just an altenative way of liking to express myself. But it is the closest to doing what i like and having a good chance with employment.

people who enjoy their majors are more creative than others... you won't be able to create unless you thoroughly enjoy what you are learning.

I guess its normal to a certain level, even you will feel it more when you start being specialized in a specific field.
