*From a lover's memoirs

Looking at the moon
Hearing the beats of my heart
Someone will arrive soon
Lonely passing the still night
Sun replaced the vanishing moon

* I wrote the poem in Japanese poem stile. caled Tanka. Tanka stile can take any subject. The author’s can include his/herfeelings and idea unlike in the Haiku, stile which describe only one moment of time.

Structure: It is consists of 5 lines, of 5, 7, 5, 7,7 syllables respectively.

In fact I wrote an Arabic poem like it I posted it in the Arabic Sablah, I don’t know if I bring the text here it will appear or not&gt;

في ليلة صامته
جلست أرقب القمر
قطعت وردة و وردة
ثم رميت حجر
و أنتظر
ما أقسى قلبه
من أنتظر
و نمت واقفا
و الشمت غطت القمر
