If you only know How Much We Love You ??

Day after day, month after month, years pass by.. till we die , we will always know that when we loved you , its not a conditioned process, its not a brain wash , its not a myth , Its the true love we have in our hearts for you ..its the normal reaction to your love to this nation , to the country & to our history.

You made us beleive that *we can do it* & you still keep showing us the same till we knew that the sky is our limit to serve this country. You said we will build this country , & we did & we are still doing.

You have done allot, you are still doing, we wish that we could do as much effort as you do for this country. So far we have just taken without giving. I cant wait to come back & pay a bit of what I have taken.

Its amazing how people envy us . How much we love you , how much we all love this country & we wish to die for both of you. To hell with the democracy when its used to destroy other countries & when it accepts a group of people to rape other nations. Whatever they sing to us we know thats its nothing , its rabish, they wish they would have a leadership as we do. Your organisation & your nation in supporting you has done wonders in the last couple of days. I could listen at some here who said we have done better than what States has done for Catrina destruction.

Peace , Security , self confidance & working hard is what we have , nothing worth thses issues ,Only those who are abroad knows how much our country worth. The difficulties we see, the hidden corruption, the distress that people live in. Its not worth it , we are so privelaged , lucky to have such a community , nation & a leader. All those who visited Oman from all over the world said that its a heaven. Some Omanies wont beleive it, but it true, beleive me its a heaven & its not my own word.

Being away was never an option , but we had to , because you asked us to study even under the tree , even if it ment being away , wherever the knowlage is. you made it accessible, because you are building a nation for your country. If it wasnt for that I would be crying wondering why am I here when my country needs me in these hard times.

I can see how much your people love you, when I sent a text to a sister of mine asking her about the preparations before the storm , she said everything is under control & she said yes & his majesty is safe.!! I didnt need to ask her , her heart was there asking for his safety.

When I ask the people in Oman how are they, the say we are fine, but they all cry & said Oman has been destroyed , They don't talk much about water , electricity & phone disconections, instead they are so sorry for their country & how to re-build it, which makes me cry of happiness not of sorrow, people's heart are feeling for Oman,They knew that you have done allot in such a short period of time , & its time to pay back, enough taking, its time to give, & thats what we see with all the support.

When I told my husband I cry for Oman, I want to come home , he said thats why we are omanies. Reminding me of the proposal that we refused in the past to work in a different country with a five times as much salary as we get. & we proudly said no. Its time for us to give, enough taking, nothing worth Oman's soil...Nothing.

Dear Leader As-Sultan Qaboos...You worth the whole nation's sacrifising for you. I wonder , do you know how much your nation loves you?? :flag:

Sallam my dear sis,

What can I say?!

With your post, you made me cry but I thank you for your lovely and touching words.

You have written exactly what I was thinking and feeling towards my own country. I wish that I am back home with my family and the Omani people, in our beloved country. I wish if I was there to witness what happened to and how destroyed it had become.

I feel hurt-aching that 37 years of hard working and developments managed to be destroyed and damaged in 1 day. Every one had given a minimal share to develop Oman, or in exact Muscat City in the past 37 years with the force of our beloved leader to raise Oman’s standard to what it was to the way it is now.

Despite the damages and the loss the country had gone through in the past days, I strongly believe that this is our best time to return the favour of what the country had given to us, and it is our chance to show how grateful we are to our beloved OMAN.

You are right that those who are abroad are the ones who know how valuable our country is and how much we love her now more than ever.

Every Omani that I have spoken to in here felt the pain towards our beloved Oman and the people, it made me feel extra proud of what we have for our Oman.

I must admit that with all the years that I have been in UK, I have never stopped loving my country, although I kept postponing my return to it. But the main reason of not going back is that I did not want to go back with nothing in my hand. I wanted to hold a qualification in my hand and experience in my other hand so I can go back and find a suitable job to serve my country to the best.

Now, I feel it is worthwhile for me to earn the experience and Insha-Allah I will be back soon with what I want and will be back for my country.

We are for Oman and Oman is for us.

Alhamdulil-Allah for that it had not gone worse than what we have of damage now.

Am sure that every single Omani Hand will unite to rebuild our country and bring it back to the Global Standard with extra love and strong Faith in our heart. The same when Oman started to stand up in 1970 with minimal number of people who were educated and expert, I believe we can give it more this time, especially with the big number of Omanies who are educated and expert and things will be fine.

With our love to OMAN:heart: :flag:

If Only Some Would Understand ?

* Why wouldn't you give a speach? why wouldn't you accept others help immediatly?...Why would you want only Omanies to do The Job ??? The answer is with those who know you..who lived with your succes... Only us Would know That The Theme Is : Action Not Words

I never doubted the reasons, some did ! They would only understand if they search & see how much you helped others in action without showing off in the media that Oman has done so & so...How many knows that in the 1st Gulf war you insisted that we (GCC) should solve our own problems withous asking for external help? How many know that Omanies were at the most front line & when the time came for celebration others moved to front to show off in public...when omanies smilled & stand back to let the hypocracy appear... Members: please Read our history, Did we ever depend on others to librate our country? No we didn't We are still doing the same!

How many know that you always sent help to those who are in need but in most times you did it quitely..you didnt announce that Oman has done so & so. I ve learnt from you that we do things quitely because we have to preserve the dignity of those who are in need. We have to help ....not to show off but because we feel for others..

I loved the way you wanted to show the world that *we can do it* by ourselves , we can help each other. & we if we needed help we will inform them. That is part of being sincere , simply we are not greedy..we only use other's help when its necessory & if couldnt cover our expensis.

Many international country leaders appear on TV giving speaches post disasters...what do the speeches do . Bush had several speeches regarding catrina. The Indonesian leader had speeches regarding tsunami....their people are still suffering, & some complains that the money that was sent have'nt been used properly...we dont need speeches, if you we want to see your sorrow, we just had to look at your meeting with your cabinet..we saw enough & we heard enough..we know that you do actions more than words...we feel it.

* Many were surprised , Why wouldn't other international media show the devistated situation of the Cyclone...People were asking...I wasnt. I gave answers...I didnt need to ask . The Theme here was : If I'am Right Nobody knows..If am Wrong..Everybody knows.

The destruction that we had for our roads , power, Water & communication systems was tremendous compare to the death toll. Why? because of the fantastic organisation & following the theme : Fail to Plan is Plan to Fail. That makes other media un-intersted to talk about...why would they talk about bouring things , why would they show how much your people love their country , their leader & their nation, why would they show how the omani people were so coporative , kind , enthusiastic & strong to deal with such disasters. Why would they show how quick we were in clearing the mess...they wouldnt. It has to be a bad organisation to make a good story..wouldn't it?

I beleive that Allah loves this country , I beleive that we had the disaster to clear our sins..we need to improve , we need to be better people , I will try , I promis , even though am a weak humen being..a little more try I may be able to do it.. Ameen :flower:

I am reading this for the first time, I'm surprised that no member had commented or replied apart from Solafa. Probably all were busy re-building Oman at the time!

Um Albanin your words are so sharp, they touch the toughest of souls and the deepest of hearts. Beautiful words, what's so beautiful about them is that they truly convey what Omanis feel towards their beloved Oman!

I'm so proud to tell you that your words did not fail you here, Oman is re-built in a significantly short time. If it wasn't for Allah's mercy, the Sultan's widsom and the love of its people it would've taken so much longer.

Kudos to you UmAlbanin, your words are breathtaking :flower:
