One of the sabla members asked me about which member was my favourite. I noticed that I read 'male' members more than females...it was tough for me to choose one male but it was easier to choose one female..

There are members who's posts I particularly look out for, like Jeff, haroun, libellula, wudjab (where are you mate?), braiki, storm, lym, nabhan, hitman (when they're funny lol), T3, Sophis catrina, giggles, threadlike, Fatak etc.. but mostly, and since day 1, I've always had a thing for Obli's lioness-like ferociousness and Jack's humour. :D

It would be easier for me to list all the members I don't like reading around, that would be a shorter and much more interesting list don't you think? :P

but nah..there are certain members I enjoy reading and make sure I catch most if not all of their posts. off the top of my head:

Lym, It's always great to discuss with her, I somehow enjoy arguing with her and proving her wrong.

Libellula, same as lym..Sometimes I think that they're twins seperated at birth.

Sophis Catrina and Bimzoori when they decide to drop by and post.

Fengy, Funny and serious at the same time..perfect read.

TripleTee, because she's a good friends and I agree with her on so many things.

Thug (not his living room posts though :p), and dammit I hate your combos with all my heart!

Morphaknight, Rossonero , Lost soul, Good posts all over.

Yasir (just to make sure he's not getting into trouble, I usually have my finger on the delete post button when I read him :D)

Phat, Oblivious, especially in the music sabla good threads started by both.

NicoBambi..he seems like a nice guy..never said anything rude to anyone over here, I like that about him.

Nella, Falling Star, Senorita, Queen..always sweet and very nice, and their posts are just lovely.

err.can't think of anymore at the moment..i'm sure i'll remember them if they decide to post in this thread.

I like these lists too...Nabhan and LYM have good ones. I like all the ones they mentioned.

Ice Tea and Haroun I like a lot and Oblivious and Arabian Princess and Toxic Honey (come back!) and fatamooo (come back!) Tiny Heart and Cute_Ting and Storm and HITMAN and STING and so many others, as well as the ones on the lists. And I've gotten very fond of Wudjab, too, despite our differences in approach.

Not just for what they write, but for who they are.

i personally like mostly everyone but some i get bothered by cuz of how lame they are

Nella: Lovely! I know when she first joined in ES we had a fight :p, but we because really really close. She has a great attitude..

Lym: Really 'stable' :p, I rarely notice her go crazy..rational too (Which I like)..she always makes sense to me.

Tee: This girl scares the hell out of me! we really really think alike! so when we talk..it gets weird..just love her.

Males:
Jack: I just ADORE him! even though I try my best NOT to read his posts about politics =P, but he's one of the v.few members who I try my best to analyze his 'attacking' posts in a positive way..just because he's JACK! lol, and oh..he's H.O.T =P

Jeff: Who doesn't like Jeff? lol..I have to admit though, he scares me a bit..he's just too good to be true =P. His posts are a must read!

Jihad4Truth: I have no idea why I like this member really...he rarely posts, but when he does..I make sure that I read them!

Wudjab: Shockingly, I like him...he has this 'vibe' that makes me like him :os..even though he's always attacking and I DO get offended lol.

Nabs: Open-minded...he does suck but I like him to pieces =P. He's my fav. member to tease.

HITMAN: Wonderful! he's just funny and actually has a brain! lol..love him.

Morpha: That guy over here is the funniest guy on this planet..and above that, he's really smart and a sweatheart!

Haroun: His posts should be a book, lol. Like him a lot...

i know im new and im fine with it, but maybe for some old members it might make them feel down to c that nobody voted 4 them as favorite members...

I'll be calculating how old members are (age wise) to see how their mindset defines their age.

from the ladies:
Lym: a very thoughtful, logical and responsible girl.

fengy: I love her. she's smart, fun, open-minded, passionate... etc etc. oh and not to mention her sense of humour kills me.

Oblivious: could she have been my twin sister in the life before this one? :XD:... where did you reincarnate to?... well I agree with almost everything this girl says... and almost everything she doesn't.

sophis-catrina and libellula: something like independance is in the genes :p... libellula's tough and sophis loves to be a woman :p... tough ladies however, not easy to fool.

Blind_Melon: missed seeing her around, but when she is, she rocks. very creative and layed back.

nella: a girl with nature. in love with nature. i've never seen this girl lose temper... lol .mashalla ( takes away evil eyes :XD: )

Jack: he's my other father. I look up to him and I respect his views. Wtever he discusses he makes his points clear. Great guy. I adore him.

Nicobambi: and who would ever forget the french one? :p... he's in the middle of the world, I understand all his views... and we pretty much share the same thoughts.

Nabhan: has always been a good friend. Despite some differences in opinions there's always some level of respect. There's a lot i agree with him on and a lot i don't :p...

Shinoda LP: yeah i know he messed around with me a lot... wonder where he's gone to... he still rocks

hmmm.... I don't prefer any specific gender when it comes to understanding or what not... I'm close to whom I feel comfortable around be it a girl or a guy.

I think women on this forum are less argumentative or feel less sure about how to argue their opinion with the more fervent males who are used to it more. So I guess many sat back. Others don't. But on the whole, I think the boys make a deeper impression on the fora, as in, their "voices" are louder. So one notices them more, thus can easily pinpoint the best from the good.

No I wasn't tom boy-ish at all. I had frilly long dresses and all the latest barbie paraphanelia.
But as I grew up I realised that some people expected me to be less than I could be because I wasn't a boy. Expected me to have less rights, to have less say and to shut up and be quiet.

Now I'm not far off if I say that I am exactly the opposite to that.

Weakness in a woman is pathetic in my eyes. Because I know it doesn't have to be that way. It is just 'groomed' into some women as an acceptible (and expected) take on life.

Toxic Honey, Dija, Pink Floydian: awesome trio! They're like sisters.. and I miss each and everyone of them.. i haven't seen them to ages. They're VERY FUN to talk to. Them hanging out with you is just a beautiful experience

Sophis catrina: quality posts all over. Definetly agree with her on many things. Too bad you can't have a decent conversation on msn cause she leaves too soon :p

Enigma: Her posts are melting with logic and smartness. We tend to agree on so many things that I certainly try not to miss a post from her.


As you can see, I tend to get a long much better with the girls than the guys. Its mostly due to the guys nature of overly argueing many things concerning religion, politics, social problems and all that. While I do that myself, most of the time I just enjoy chilling out and just chatting.

I felt this special member deserved her own post. This girl is simply divine. An awesome chick to the last. her posts are witty, smart, funny and filled with logic. Once my queen in my island of amazon chicks, now one of my closest online friends. Folks I give you, the lovely and talented Oblivious! Nothing in this world can compare to her I have no idea how to describe her for I fear that she may not be pleased. So Oblivious please, can we "get together"? ;)

Oh man you nailed it!! I was a total tom boy growing up, what else is a girl that has only brothers? LOL but that's just because i was competing for my dads attention which involved being a good athlete and doing guy things. I finally outgrew that when i was around 20... THANK GOD :hyper:
